Responsible for the operation of the plant, to ensure maximum production quantity and quality, while following the policies, goals, and objectives of the company. Training will be done on first shift, but once trained you will go to a 6pm-6am 3-2-2 shift. Duties & Responsibilities: Monitors and controls plant operations * Constantly reviews the operation of the plant to monitor production and quality, anticipating and solving problems in a timely manner, and identifying opportunities for improvement. * Participates in projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs. * Maintains adequate records of key production variables such as production volume, yield, plant uptime, utility consumption, etc., on a daily, weekly, and/or monthly basis, as required. Participates in quality assurance program * Communicates directly with QA laboratory to ensure effective participation in the implementation of QA policies and procedures. * Samples and tests process streams as required by the QA program and procedures. * Maintains QA records. * Understands and interprets QA results and takes appropriate action when required. Participates in plant maintenance program * Communicates directly with the maintenance department to coordinate maintenance and repair work in process areas. * Performs preventative maintenance activities as required. * Assists maintenance technicians in performing maintenance and repairs. * Assists with diagnosing and trouble-shooting maintenance related issues. The primary purpose of this role is to visit various customer sites each day and provide care for the plants by performing trained tasks such as grooming, rotating, watering, prune, trim, remove debris from planters, gauge soil moisture accurately with a soil probe and fertilize as needed. Providing ultimate plant care while preventing damage to surrounding floors, walls, carpet, furniture, etc. from water and/or moisture. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: * Exercise trained techniques to apply and maintain appropriate amounts of water per lighting conditions and plant requirements * Ensure plants as well as display containers are clean and free of dust and debris * Keep all plants free from diseases and insects * Maintain appearance of top dressing and other ornamental elements * Recognize and communicate additional Ambius product needs to grow the business * Assist on a variety of plantscape installations including interior or exterior container gardens, wall-mounted systems, commercial plantscapes, and more * Assist on holiday decoration installations decorating the interior and exterior of buildings with a team as well as removal of holiday decorations as needed at the end of the season * Maintain scenting and air purification equipment as necessary * Solid communication and critical problem solving skills * Regularly drive a service van/truck in urban and rural settings * Able to safely climb ladders and work on ladders * Experience using pruners, scissors, and other sharp objects What do you need? * Experience caring for plants is preferred * High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience * Must possess a valid driver's license from state of residence * Available to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed * Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills * Basic math skills -You'll need to be able to follow instructions for mixing on product labels * Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us) * Customer-facing experience preferred Base Pay Range Hourly: $18.00 - $25.00 While starting pay falls within the given range, it can vary based on factors like geographic location, skills, education, and experience. Hours: 7:00am to 3:30pm Pay: Starting at $22.00/hr.+, based on experience Summary: Maintains wastewater treatment system, buildings, grounds, utility systems and keeps facility clean. Key Responsibilities: Maintains and monitors wastewater treatment system. Collects samples and makes routine chemical analyses of wastewater at various points in the plant process. Maintains chemical waste containers. Maintains a current certification for the treatment of wastewater from the ILEPA. Picks up recycling material from plant grounds. Operates sit down forklift and additional motorized equipment within the plant. Provides general building maintenance. Additional duties may be assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor as needed. Occasionally the Wastewater Treatment Operator will be required to work on Saturdays to provide support.
