Chemical Plant Operators are also responsible for using and maintaining the equipment used to blend chemicals. Your IMPACT Coordinate and perform inspections of moorings and barges to identify damage, water accumulation, or cargo spillage, ensuring timely repairs. Monitor barge drafts and maintain comprehensive logs of fleet and vessel inspections. Inspect and maintain all equipment, including safety gear, PPE, and essential deck supplies. Prepare barges for loading/unloading operations and ensure they are in safe, operable condition. Operate a variety of equipment safely, including forklifts, Bobcats, dozers, and back/track hoes. Conduct regular inspections of the fleet, document discrepancies, and report issues to appropriate stakeholders. What we are looking for... You will need to have: Must have a valid driver's license. Must be eligible for a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential). Availability to work a rotating schedule with occasional overtime and on-call support. FCC Restricted Radio License (desired). Even better if you have: High School Diploma or GED is preferred. 5+ Years of marine industry experience related to fleet operations is preferred.
