Job Responsibilities for Experienced Winter PlantOperator:
Perform daily operational checks of assigned compressor stations to ensure all equipment is operating and functioning properly.
Preforms all job functions according to State, Federal and company laws and regulations.
Report all unsafe acts or unsafe conditions.
Maintain, fuel and move heaters as per company needs .
Safely and effectively operate, maintain, and monitor separators, dehydration equipment, compressors, meters, pumping equipment, well sites and control devices to ensure they are operating and producing at the optimum level. This may include changing filters and working with glycol and methanol.
Job requirements for Experienced Winter PlantOperator:
Work effectively and professionally with all co-workers, management and site workers.
Experience in Gas& Oil Midstream Operations Required.
Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Able to work night shift, including weekend and holidays requires.
Ability to pass background and drug & alcohol testing required.

Your role at Clorox:
The Process Operator will work in a dynamic team-based environment with the responsibility to safely produce the highest quality cat litter in the correct amount at the right cost. Department tasks will include working safely at all times without exception, unloading rail cars, operating and maintaining process equipment, monitoring associated controls and instrumentation, performing quality checks, implementing improvements, and contributing to the overall success of the plant.
The Process Operator will own all aspects of their area and equipment, including implementing safety and quality improvements, completing machine setups and product changeovers, and achieving production and cost targets. The Process Operator will work autonomously and flow to the highest priority work, collaborate across department boundaries, participate in team-based activities, and ensure compliance with all plant procedures, policies, and standards.

The Process Operator will:
· Adhere to all safety and quality standards and guidelines and repair and/or report unsafe conditions, near misses, and/or injuries in a timely manner.
· Operate, monitor, and adjust the equipment within the Process Department as needed.
· Review and reconcile system data as needed, create reports, and perform root cause analysis.
· Deliver against daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
· Leverage technology as needed to stay informed (ex: daily review of email, production schedules, troubleshooting guides, job aides, etc.)
· Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, mechanical and electrical equipment to the extent allowed by position training/certification.
· Ensure all area housekeeping tasks are completed and workplace organization is maintained.
· Participate in the creation of training documentation as well as support the training of new Operators.
· Complete routine and preventative maintenance for area equipment.
· Maintain inventory storage areas, including participation in cycle counts and/or wall-to-wall inventory counts as needed.
Hourly Compensation: $24.93 per hour plus $1.05 shift differential
Key Responsibilities:
· Unload and transport raw materials, equipment, and supplies from semi-trailers and railcars.
· Transport raw materials during product preparation.
· Dump or pour specified amounts of materials into machinery or equipment.
· Mix or blend ingredients by starting machines and mixing for specified times.
· Add or mix chemicals or ingredients for processing, using hand tolls and other devices.
· Unload mixtures into containers or onto conveyors for further processing.
· Tend or operate machinery that produces product, regulating machine flow, speed, or temperature.
· Stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur, clear machine jams, and report malfunctions to a Team Lead or Manager.
· Perform quality checks and raw material inspections, collecting samples of materials or products for laboratory testing.
· Unload, transport, and supply raw materials to spindles, conveyors, hoppers, or other feeding devices.
· Stock and sort product for process machine operation and replenish process supplies.
· Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of process products to standards, inspecting and removing defective products.
· Stack component items, or wrap protective material around each item, and pack the items in cartons or containers.
· Other duties as needed to support business operations as directed by Management.
Working Conditions:
The Process Operator continually or frequently encounters these conditions during a shift of work: 1) exposure to dust & fine particles; 2) exposure to high noise levels; 3) exposure to moving equipment; 4) exposure to scents and odors; 5) repetitive gross and fine hand motions, including grasping, gripping and bending hand/wrist; 6) standing (up to 12 hours per shift); 7) walking (up to 12 hours per shift); 8) wear common protective or safety equipment (safety shoes, glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats); 9) work at heights exceeding 6 feet; 10) work indoors, partially environmentally controlled.

QUALIFICATIONS

Job Responsibilities for Experienced Winter PlantOperator:
Perform daily operational checks of assigned compressor stations to ensure all equipment is operating and functioning properly.
Preforms all job functions according to State, Federal and company laws and regulations.
Report all unsafe acts or unsafe conditions.
Maintain, fuel and move heaters as per company needs .
Safely and effectively operate, maintain, and monitor separators, dehydration equipment, compressors, meters, pumping equipment, well sites and control devices to ensure they are operating and producing at the optimum level. This may include changing filters and working with glycol and methanol.
Job requirements for Experienced Winter PlantOperator:

TASK & DUTIES LIST AND MEASURES OF PERFORMANCE FOR: WATER TREATMENT PLANTOPERATOR I, II, III, or IV
STARTING SALARY UP TO (CLASS I) - $51,677, (CLASS II) - $55,358, (CLASS III) - $59,300, (CLASS IV) - $61,376 Starting salary commensurate with certification, qualifications, and experience. Class II or Class III Preferred. Position is not exempt from overtime.
2. REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Graduation from high school or GED equivalent and technical training in the operation of water treatment facilities and two (class I), thee (class II), or five (class III) years of experience in a water utility, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Licensing, Registration or Certification: Background check must be satisfactory. Pre-employment screenings must be passed. Must possess or be able to obtain at time of hire, and maintain a valid WV drivers license. Must possess and maintain a West Virginia Health Department Class I, II, or III Certification. Fluoride license. Any certificate required by West Virginia Department of Health for Class I, II, or III operator.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Working knowledge of equipment materials, facilities, methods and procedures used in the water treatment plantoperations and maintenance. Some knowledge of the principles, practices and methods used in the water treatment and pumping operations. Some knowledge of chemistry as applied to water treatment. 3. TASKS and DUTIES OF JOB:
Performs a variety of semi-skilled technical and maintenance tasks in the operation, maintenance and repair of water treatment facilities and systems. Employee works under the regular supervision of the Utilities Director or the Water Treatment Plant Chief Operator. While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works outside in various weather conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical equipment and is exposed to wet and /or humid conditions. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, risk of electric shock and vibration. The employee is frequently exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals. Working with various chemicals and mechanical/electrical equipment can be hazardous if used in an unsafe method. The employee operates motor vehicles, laboratory equipment, generators, pumps, gauges, common hand and power tools, shovels, wrenches, detection devices, mobile radio, phone, calculator and other specialized equipment. Noise levels are low to moderately loud.
Class I Certified:
1 Maintains the required confidentiality of all work.
2 Monitors the performance of all equipment, adjusts valves and controls in the treatment plant and water pump stations; records statistical data concerning plantoperations; maintains, operates, repairs and replaces equipment as necessary.
3 Operates, maintains, and repairs minor malfunctions at the water treatment plant; repairs gauges, pumps, filters and other controls and equipment.
4 Collects samples and identifies concentrations of chemical, physical or biological characteristics of water required in accordance with local, state and Federal requirements; gathers and tests water samples for plant efficiency reports as required and enters data into appropriate log books. Adjusts valves and controls to chemically maintain clean water.
5 Cleans wells, well houses and operates pumps and valves to control and adjust flow in the treatment process.
6 Monitors performance of electrical systems, circuits or equipment of the treatment plant notifying supervision of abnormalities.
7 Reviews and adjusts chlorinators, fluoridators, liquid chemical feeders as prescribed in standard operating procedures.
8 Cleans, paints and performs general housekeeping duties and makes minor repairs to the physical property of the plant assuring the appearance of a well-kept facility.
9 Any and all other duties assigned by the Utilities Director or Water Treatment Plant Chief Operator.
Class II, Class III Certified: Includes Class I duties and the following:
10 Monitors the performance of all equipment, gauges and charts in the treatment plants and pump stations; records statistical data concerning plantoperations; maintains, operates, repairs and replaces equipment as necessary.
11 Assures that plantoperates within required standards.
12 Trains lesser skilled operators in acceptable operation methods and procedures to assure proper Water Treatment Plantoperations.
13 Operates, maintains, and repairs malfunctions at the water treatment plant; monitors control panels, chlorinator, fluoridators, liquid chemical feed pumps, repairs gauges, pumps, filters and other controls and equipment.
14 Operates and maintains equipment, lubricates pumps, aerators, air compressors, emergency generators, operators pumps and valves to control and adjust flow and treatment process.
15 Adjust valves and various controls to maintain constant water flow and water pressure in the system.
16 Calibrates, modifies or repairs instrumentation and control equipment including recorders, flow meters and other water quality monitoring equipment.
17 Posts results of plant charts on level gauges and flow meters after making rounds in the treatment facility at predetermined times.
18 Maintains drawing and schematics of electrical, plumbing and other systems at the treatment plant.
19 Any and all other duties assigned by the Utilities Director or Water Treatment Plant Chief Operator.
