What we are looking for:


Ensure a culture of safety by leading by example Responsible for all Company locations Update, implement and enforce safety program and policies Perform all duties as outlined in the company's safety program Ensure compliance with all new developments, regulations, and requirements for health and safety Conduct reviews of and ensure Fleet Safety Inspection facilities as necessary to achieve goals of safety and OSHA and EPA programs Monitor, implement and assure Company's compliance with Federal and State OSHA and EPA regulations Establish, monitor, conduct and enforce OSHA / EPA inspection procedures Contact for the Loss Control and Workers Comp Carrier, follow up of such as needed Lead Accident Investigations and communicate findings and recommendations with appropriate personnel Monitor Workers Comp lost time and light duty; generate and file OSHA 300 logs Complete and communicate Job Hazard Analysis Annual Review Coordinate Employee Annual Safety Training Coordinate Monthly Supervisor Safety Training Develop and conduct monthly employee safety meetings Provide topics for weekly toolbox meetings for employees conducted by Supervisors Develop and conduct Safety Orientation Program Form, maintain and conduct Safety Committee meetings Attend necessary seminars to maintain familiarity with regulations and requirements

Job Description:

AriensCo, a global leader in outdoor power equipment, is now hiring a Safety Leader for our new manufacturing facility in Fayetteville, TN! Join our team and see firsthand why the Ariens name has been synonymous with quality for nearly 90 years and counting.

The Day to Day...
Implement, support, and continuously improve a behavioral-based Safety culture Develop and build the Safety teams to be highly involved in the continuous improvement of Safety programs and activities Support and teach through the process of incident investigations to determine root cause and short/long term countermeasures Partner with company leadership and team members to identify opportunities and implement solutions to enhance SafetyDevelop, implement and maintain safety programs to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and training requirements Maintain knowledge of OSHA regulations Plan and implement Safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations Develop and facilitate training on various Safety related topics Perform safety observations and inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulation compliance Implement preventive measures and assist with return-to-work activities Provide technical advice, coaching, guidance, and mentoring to employees on safety initiatives and necessary changes Order and maintain facility safety inventory including supplies and equipment Understand the difference between acute and ergonomic injuries and develop activities and awareness to prevent both Influence and teach teams to understand the importance of and to be effective at 6SServe as back up for managing and submitting the OSHA 300 log annually Represent the organization in community or industry Safety groups and programs Perform other duties as assigned

The Qualifications…
Minimum 2 years of experience in safety leadership, safety team involvement, or safety training Bachelor's degree (preferably in environmental health and safety) preferred Manufacturing experience is a plusA demonstrated positive impact in leading improvements with Safety programs Moderate to advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office and various other software products OSHA VPP knowledge and experience preferredA familiarity with lean manufacturing environments preferred

Minimum qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.

+ 10 years of experience working in Web-Research, Risk and Fraud Detection, Numerical Analysis, or Search Engine Optimization.

+ Experience in analytics tools and/or data analysis (e.g., SQL or Python).

+ Experience in a leadership role on an investigative team.

Preferred qualifications:

+ Experience in analyzing data sets using up-to-date tools.

+ Experience in leading cross-functional projects across organizational boundaries.

+ Experience in developing detailed operational processes from scratch.

+ Ability to develop expertise in multiple product areas and simultaneously balance workload.

+ Ability to work independently and complete projects in a timely manner.

+ Ability to navigate and influence cross-team stakeholders, with strong mentorship skills.

As the Global Lead, you will develop and manage cross-functional relationships with Engineering, Product, Legal, and Operations teams in an effort to improve processes for identifying and resolving policy and quality issues on Google Search.

In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of projects with a diverse group of stakeholders. You will be responsible to analyze market trends, set strategy, and implement scaled solutions to solve user safety and quality issues, as well as ensure a high-quality user experience across Search products.

We partner with teams across Google to deliver bold solutions in abuse areas such as malware, spam and account hijacking. A diverse team of Analysts, Policy Specialists, Engineers, and Program Managers, we work to reduce risk and fight abuse across all of Google's products, protecting our users, advertisers, and publishers across the globe in over 40 languages.

+ Manage and lead a team of managers and analysts working across Google Search to protect users from abuse, inappropriate content, and fraud through investigation, prevention, and removal of quality issues.

+ Lead projects and cross-functional initiatives within Google, interacting with executive stakeholders from Engineering, Legal, and Product teams.

+ Provide strategy for projects and deliverables for the team. Mentor and help the team to achieve goals and support growth and development.

+ Work across user issues in search results that prevent user harm. Occasionally review or be exposed to sensitive content.

+ Build and train a team of strategists focused on the creator pillar and invest in preventing user harm.
