- Will be sitting in the operation room about 50% of the time.
- In the operation room, you will be using multiple computer screens and programs to make sure that the ethanol is fermenting properly.
- May need to enter commands to manipulate the batch recipes, they will watch for any errors and ensure the processes are operating correctly.
- 20% of the time techs will be in the lab taking samples out of the tanks and testing their PH levels.
- The remaining 30% of the time will be doing clean up on the floor and doing some repairs on equipment.
- Will respond to alarms when repairs are needed.
Hours:
- Hours: (Swing Shift) 7am-7pm for days and 7pm-7am for nights
- Rotating back and forth weekends and weekdays

- Holiday pay from day 1 with the company.

This role is a full-time temporary position with a contract until the end of the year.
**Schedule**
**"1st week" 630-5pm EST (10 hours) M, W, TH, F**
**"2nd week" 630-5pm EST (10 Hours) TU, SA, SU**
The Greenhouse team within Crop Protection Discovery Operations Center enables the discovery of new products through strong technical capabilities and partnership with research teams. Below are key responsibilities and expectations for success in this role:
Greenhouse activities may include: watering greenhouses & growth chambers daily, organizing plant orders within greenhouses based on watering and research needs, performing pesticide applications as part of a team, scouting for pests on plants in greenhouse on a regular basis, prepping all greenhouse plant waste for devitalization, maintaining cleanliness of greenhouses and corridor, stock PPE stations in each greenhouse wing, weekly safety eye wash/shower testing and prepare/stage pots and flats for soil requests.
Required expectations:
High school diploma or GED
• Must be able to withstand work in greenhouses with temperatures between 85-100F
• Must be able to tolerate working in environments with presence of pollen, molds, mildews, soil, insects, plant debris
• Must have "commitment to safety" attitude for self, others and the environment
• Must be reliable, have a strong work ethic, be self-motivated, possess strong organizational and time management skills
• Must have ability to read, understand and follow SOP's that are required for work
• Must be able to discern (with training) when plants/greenhouses are outside of normal/expected parameters. Take initiative. Be aware of work area and report anything that is out of the ordinary quickly
• Must be able obtain state pest application license within 60 days of employment (training to be provided)
• Must be able to lift ~25lbs
• Must have basic computer skills
