    Job Description Back Up Pack-Smart Operator The primary responsibilities of the Pack-Smart operator will be to support the Main operator with setting up, operating, and troubleshooting machinery to produce high-quality products while leading a team of employees to successfully meet production goals. Essential Job Functions: Safely and with high quality, operate production machinery with a primary focus on the Pack-Smart machine Train general machine operators on safe and proper machine set up and operation Instruct and lead a team of 4+ employees Safely make physical adjustments to the machine Understand how machines work, mechanical knowledge to be able to troubleshoot, adjust settings accordingly, and perform necessary repairs Read and understand data Review first article, data proofs, and other production paperwork Audit quality for operations on each side of the running machine. Audit work instructions are being followed for safety, quality, and production throughout. Set-up work area/machines with no assistance Can make camera adjustments Perform these and other duties as assigned by Supervisor or other appropriate management personnel Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: High School Diploma or equivalent 3+ years' experience in a progressive, high-volume manufacturing environment Preferred experience on complex machinery with folder gluers with camera inspection systems (Otto Kunnecke Machines, Precision Redlline Machines, Kirk Rudy Machines, Masssman Automation) Must be mechanically inclined Advanced math and reading skills and must be able to read and understand work and safety instructions in English Ability to manage multiple activities at different stages of complexity Developed interpersonal and communication skills Strong organization skills combined with structured problem solving and the ability to determine root cause, containment, and corrective actions Proficient computer skills/knowledge Must be proficient in Excel Pay Rate: $20 per hour. 1st Shift Monday through Thursday - 4:00 am to 2:30 pm, 40-hour work week*. 2nd Shift Monday through Thursday - 2:30pm to 1:00 am, 40-hour work week*. *Training will be conducted on the regular shift of M-F from: 1st Shift 6:00am to 2:30pm, with OT as needed 2nd Shift 2:30pm to 11:00pm, with OT as needed PLI Physical Requirements and Work Environment Certification Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.     Job Description Data Processing Technician Duties include to monitor and maintain integrity and accuracy of customer data, ensuring that it meets defined specifications set forth by the individual jobs. Maintain customer/internal personalization databases to ensure their integrity and availability. Perform job accuracy checks, identifying job problems early on and ensuring that job orders are reviewed and/or revised in a very timely manner so that customer approval and production may be completed according to schedule and work with different computer systems to process large amounts of data. Essential Job Functions The list of essential functions, as outlined herein, is intended to be representative of the tasks performed within this classification. It is not necessarily descriptive of any one position in the class. Review all personalization and variable data jobs, collaborating with pre-press department, sales, MFG, and Planning & Scheduling team for accuracy and completeness of job notes in order to validate newly created proofs. Resolve discrepancies, errors and potential production problems before the final proof goes to the customer, checking that the data for the last job is not being duplicated by a new one. Ability to fully understand all PLI's card production process as this will be essential in the top-level stages of Data Management staging every personalization job for the production floor from data manipulation through final labeling and shipment phases. Take in-house and existing data from customers and format it for the various PLI printing systems which involve extensive use of commercial and in-house software applications to re-format and verify data files while following procedures for every job ensuring 100% accuracy. Validate all in-bound data against job notes, personalization specifications, card manufacturing specifications, customer requirements and other systems where the data is needed and will be used. Maintain all databases for customers that require PLI to hold and store account numbers, in excess of currently issued runs, for future jobs. Generate data, when not provided by customer, in-house using commercial software and/or PLI internal programs to be formatted for the printing system it will be produced on. Provide labeling support in anticipation of custom packaging to shipping needs. Take on additional tasks and continue to learn all department functions in order to perform upper-level tasks and procedures, aiding in the continued growth of the department and company Provide support to the Sales Department in areas involving data management and general technical questions/assistance. Utilize available assets to further skill sets in line with the IT and Data Management departments. Assist/Support activities of personnel in the personalization and affixing departments Safely perform physical demands as indicated below Perform these and other duties as assigned by supervisor or other appropriate management personnel Work overtime as needed to meet customers' needs Schedule: 7:00am to 3:30pm with OT as needed Saturdays: Rotational as required Pay starts: $20.00/hour Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year previous experience in variable data, delimited files, computer, or InDesign Proofing roles Education: High School Degree or GED equivalent Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Good to Strong abilities with Excel data files Above average math skills Ability to multi-task Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written Strong organization skills Strong to excellent computer skills Familiar with Data Base Software (Access, SQL, etc.) is a plus

    The Fulfillment Team Member is responsible for printing, processing, packaging, and shipping orders. They will work closely with Fulfillment Associates, Shipping, Inventory, and Warehouse. Schedule: 6:00am-2:30pm - Monday through Friday, Saturday as needed Requirements: Must be detail oriented with proven time management and organizational skills. Computer literate and comfortable working with different programs. Self-motivated and disciplined. Punctuality and good attendance is a must. Be able to see and understand sequential numbering and ranges as required for the orders. Main Duties include but are not limited to: Beginning to end processing orders. Be able to learn and understand different SOP's to fill orders as they come in via company portal, ERP system, and customer's portal. Create warehouse pull tickets to replenish shelf stock from the warehouse. Basic knowledge of shipping providers and transit times whether shipping via small parcel or LTL. Assist with basic shipping needs and shipping. Ensure all orders are processed and tracking is posted. Work with Shipping team if changes are necessary. Be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
