    We are seeking a full-time CMF Engineer for our office in Olathe, KS. In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with designers, engineers, and suppliers to forecast, develop, and implement color, material, and finish plans to drive innovation into Garmin Products.
    Essential Functions

    * Manage a sustainable CMF innovation portfolio for a wide variety of consumer products
    * Select, design, and evaluate polymeric materials to determine the right materials for specific applications
    * Ensure CMF technology pipeline to support product design and business needs
    * Satisfy and inspire customers through creative design, product development and manufacturing
    * Collaborate with CMF designers, suppliers, engineers, and manufacturers worldwide
    * Stay current on advances in material innovation and integrate/validate new CFM technologies
    * Manage and analyze new materials, colors, finishes for relevant market segments
    * Match and develop new color matches across a variety of materials and own the color & finish matching process

    Basic Qualifications

    * Bachelor's Degree in Materials Science, Polymer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field AND a minimum of 9 years relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
    * Excellent academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 as a general rule)

    * Proficiency in the latest materials, finishes and various manufacturing processes
