As a Forklift Operator, You Will:
Operate a forklift to transport raw materials & finished goods between the warehouse & production areas
Use a RF scanning device to scan goods & properly maintain inventory records
Load finished goods to ship to customers

Knowledge of TS and ISO 14001
Trimming parts from the gates and separating the parts from the scrap.
Assures trim die is free of debris and lubricated properly with each use.
Observes the quality of the products for excessive flash, dents, dings, bubbles, or any other defects that do not
fall within the accepted quality standards.
Responsible for containment of all non-conforming product, and ensuring it is properly identified.
Understands when the metal level is too low and how to fill the furnace safely and which metal to use. Knows
to watch the temperature of the metal in the furnace and when to call for help if it gets too hot or too cold.
Enters job and production information into Epicor to track activities completed throughout the shift. Is able to
record scrap and start up shots in addition to other job activities.
Performs in process inspections every two hours on the parts and logging this information onto a sheet.
Capable of starting the machine at the beginning of the shift for a job that was previously running.
Follows all safety procedures including abiding by all safety latches, locks and gates on the machinery.
Covers breaks and lunches at other die cast machines.
Can run trim press and inspect parts at a variety of die cast machines and will be expected to move around and
work different machines as business levels dictate.
Keeps floor and area surrounding workstation clean and free from water and oil.
Dumps scrap and doss at the end of the shift and as needed. Knows how to safely move the parts and material
around using pallet jacks and carts.
Packages up parts in boxes for the shipping department.
Is responsible for reporting any production difficulties to mechanic or immediate supervisor.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends, as production schedules and
requirements change on a regular basis according to business needs.

Job Responsibilities:
Produce and/or assemble machined parts made of iron, steel, and aluminum at an acceptable standard rate.
Deburr machined parts using hand tools and pneumatic tools.
Perform routine quality checks on produced parts.
Accurately record production rates, scrap counts, and other documented data as required.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area using basic housekeeping supplies.
Collaborate with the quality control team for process improvements.

Qualifications:
Successful candidates for the position of Machine Operator should demonstrate the following skills and abilities:
Ability to function in an industrial environment safely by utilizing proper PPE.
Dependable attendance record and strong work ethic.
Willingness to learn and adhere to procedures.
Basic arithmetic for tracking production and scrap rates.
Ability to be flexible and run different jobs throughout the shop.
Education:
Candidates for the position of Machine Operator should have completed or be on track to complete a high school diploma or graduate equivalent diploma (GED). Prior experience in manufacturing is encouraged but may not be required at the discretion of the hiring team.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires the candidate to be able to stand, kneel, climb, and lift up to 75lbs. repeatedly for a 10 hour work day. Working conditions may be cold in the winter and hot in the summer. Candidates must be willing to work overtime if required to meet production objectives and timing.
Safety Requirements:
Employee's must be willing and capable to wear Safety Glasses (Non-Tinted) and Safety Toe shoes or boots on the shop floor as well as Ear Plugs at machining centers. The use of a forklift or crane may be required. The wearing of gloves is as needed. Ear buds and radios are not permitted on the shop floor.
