Night Shift
This is a night shift position, 6:45 pm - 7:15 am.
Shifts are 12-hour shifts on a standard rotating 2-week cycle (3 days on the first week, and 4 days on the second week).
You have every other weekend off.
You Will
Working alongside the team, set the example of excellent forklift operations in the transport of raw materials & finished goods between the warehouse & production areas.
Coordinate Forklift Operator / Material Handler work assignments to uphold safety, quality and productivity standards.
Provide on-the-job training and mentoring for new hires and experienced team members.
Develop your leadership skills, positioning you for further promotional opportunities.
You Have
High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
At least 3 years of forklift operation and warehouse experience in a manufacturing work environment.
Proficiency using a computer system performing tasks, including data entry, completing transactions, retrieving and updating documents. SAP experience is a plus.
Proficiency using an RF scanner.
Experience providing on-the-job training & task guidance to others.
Past experience that demonstrates your leadership potential (this can be through work or other experience).
Ability to lift & move up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.
You'll Earn
$21.75+ or more, based on experience
This includes a night shift differential of $1.50 per hour
Double-Time-Pay on Sundays (regular schedules are every other Sunday).
That's 12 hours of extra pay.

Pull rolls from warehouse to Reinspect area
Loading rolls onto table
Locate rolls coming off roll-up, back in correct location
Assist in picking up cores and placing in correct buggy
Assist in banding scrap and cores and removing to correct location
What you have:
20/40 vision (corrected OK)
Ability to read letters/numbers
Know colors / not color blind
Computer competency when locating rolls in the computer system
Lift truck driving aptitude and physical agility to mount/dismount lift truck multiple times daily as demonstrated in job tryout

Responsibilities:
Perform pre-operational safety checks and complete a vehicle inspection report before operating the equipment.
Recharge lift truck battery or replace/refuel the gas tank.
Unload goods from storage areas, bin locations, or trailers
Correctly operate the hand-held scanning device and follow instructions given by the onboard RF unit.
Manually load/unload pad or other material not designed to be handled by forks or pole.
Any other tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalency preferred.
Reads and writes in standard English and proficient in performing basic math calculations such as addition and subtraction.

What you have:
Experience operating a powered industrial truck (preferred)
Ability to complete powered industrial truck certification course (or valid Mohawk PIT certification)
Basic Microsoft Office skills
Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and quickly adapt to changes
Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
Mounting and dismounting the PIT repeatedly throughout shift
Repetitive reaching, bending, kneeling and pulling
Successful completion of a vision screen
Positive attitude and flexibility

What you'll do:
Prepare orders for shipment and verify accuracy of order and products
Deliver raw materials to production lines and transport finished materials from production areas to warehousing and distribution areas
Train others on internal processes and procedures
Operate powered industrial truck (may be clamp truck, scissor truck, forklift, pole hyster or other PIT)
Maintain records, reports and other documentation
Remain safety-focused

As a Plastipak Forklift Operator, you safely & efficiently move & store raw materials & finished goods between the warehouse & production areas.
What: Forklift Operator/Material Handler
Where: Medina, OH
When: 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off
Days: 8am-8pm ($18/hr)
Nights: 8pm-8am ($20/hr)

As a Forklift Operator, You Will:
Operate a forklift to transport raw materials & finished goods between the warehouse & production areas
Use a RF scanning device to scan goods & properly maintain inventory records
Load finished goods to ship to customers

This might be a good fit if you have:
Ability to work 12 hour day or night shift following a 3-2-2-3 schedule
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
Minimum of one year of forklift experience.
