Hiring platers for a gold plating company! Light experience, NO background check required, 3 day weekend

Pay: $17-$20/hr, Paid weekly!

Shift: 5am-3pm, M-Th - long weekend!

Location: Curry & McClintock - Tempe, AZ

Description:

• Requires the knowledge to work safely around dangerous chemicals
• Work safely around extremely hazardous chemicals, such as cyanide and nitric, using appropriate safety equipment
• Chemical Stripping, Preparation, Masking, Racking, Plating and Maintenance, Other Duties

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

* Handling and Moving Objects - Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, moving materials, and manipulating things.
* Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates - Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
* Cleans and strips plating parts.
* Utilizes various hazardous chemicals appropriately in order to strike, wash, rinse, oxidize, deoxidize, blast, passivate, and lubricate parts.
* Sizes, racks, plugs, measures, and troubleshoots production parts and assemblies.
* Operates cadmium plating, anodizing, cleaning, passivation, Chem Film and assemblies.
* Properly disposes of chemicals following policies and procedures.
* Monitor Processes, Materials, or Surroundings - Monitoring and reviewing information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems.
* Must have evening availability as this position is for 2nd Shift from 3:30 pm to 12:00 am.

EDUCATION:

* High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
* Must be able to give and receive written and oral instructions in English.

EXPERIENCE:

* Previous experience working on a plating line as well as using a micrometer are necessary.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL ELEMENTS:

* While performing the duties of this job, the employee generally works indoors within the plating room and manufacturing areas.
* The employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
* The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate or loud.
* The employee is regularly required to sit and talk or to hear.
* The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
* The employee is frequently required to stand and walk.
* The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds unaided.
* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
