This incumbent will provide general oversite of all clinical operations within the Women's Residential Treatment Center at the North Campus location under the supervision of the Program Supervisor and Program Manager. The incumbent will ensure that therapeutic services are properly executed, including but not limited to assisting with the referral and admissions process, ensuring that all individual and group sessions are done, ensuring treatment teams are scheduled and conducted, providing training, instruction and direction to subordinate staff as needed, and ensuring all clinical documentation is completed. The individual will perform clinical work such as providing direct clinical service involving intake, assessing client needs, developing treatment plans, managing cases, providing therapy, maintaining records and files, preparing reports, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the general direction of the assigned supervisor.
Essential Functions
Provides ongoing clinical and administrative supervision to staff providing services to clients.
Oversees the work of staff as assigned; coaches, counsels, and evaluates staff performance; addresses complaints and resolves problems of staff.
Performs intakes, client assessments and diagnostic interviews; conducts mental health assessment and monitors level of functioning.
Observes treatment services facilitated by subordinates to clients and provides clinical feedback.
Monitors and audits clinical and medical records and practices for compliance with regulatory, reimbursement and agency standards; reviews documentation for accuracy; reviews and signs paperwork of clinicians as needed.
Facilitates staff meetings in the absence of the supervisor to discuss client concerns or changes and clinical practice; consults with teams in the planning and development of treatment and discharge plans.
Serves as a representative at interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and clinical staffings/case consultations; attends other meetings as required.
Develops ongoing clinical trainings to meet the needs of the team
Monitors client compliance with discharge plans.
Represents clients and Authority in court and legal proceedings.
Prepares various reports and case related correspondence.
Attends professional conferences and trainings as required.
Position Requirements
Education and Experience
Master's degree with major course work in social work, counseling, psychology or related field and considerable experience working with clients with behavioral health and/or developmental disabilities in a behavioral healthcare setting.
Physical Requirements
This is sedentary work requiring the exertion of up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to move objects; work requires fingering, and repetitive motions; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels, and to receive detailed information through oral communications and/or to make fine distinctions in sound; visual acuity is required for preparing and analyzing written or computer data, visual inspection involving small defects and/or small parts, operation of motor vehicles or equipment, determining the accuracy and thoroughness of work, and observing general surroundings and activities; the worker is not subject to adverse environmental conditions. Since its founding, ACT has supported thousands of African immigrants with direct services, trained hundreds of new leaders, and led successful policy campaigns at the federal, state, and local levels that have impacted hundreds of thousands of immigrants. ACT's African immigrant membership comes from a diverse range of nationalities, cultures, and languages, is religiously diverse, and is predominantly working-class and low-income. We have offices in New York City and the Washington, D.C. metro area.
Position Description:
During the 2024 election cycle, ACT will conduct a 9-week nonpartisan door-to-door field campaign to engage African voters. The campaign will focus on increasing voter turnout (GOTV) in key districts, raising awareness about issues that impact Virginia's African community, and recruiting members for our statewide chapter. We are seeking a candidate who can work both independently and collaboratively, is adept at communicating with people of African descent, and is ready to engage and mobilize the African community for the upcoming November general election.
Key responsibilities include:
Door-to-Door Canvassing
Manage paid canvassers as well as launch and debrief daily canvass.
Assist with training and administrative tasks, such as completing canvass reports.
Engage in respectful in-person conversations with African voters in our priority districts.
Maintain weekly canvass and voter engagement goals.
Provide nonpartisan information regarding voter readiness, ballot access, ways to vote, rides to the polls, and other important voter information.
Verify African voter information and turn out eligible voters via either: early in-person voting, vote by mail, or on Election Day.
Commute daily to ACT's priority districts and assigned turf.
Engage and recruit African voters to become involved in ACT's voter engagement and mobilization efforts.
Data Collection
Enter canvassing metrics and voter data using the Voter Activation Network [VAN / MiniVAN].
Maintain correct information for each voter conversation.
Sync and save all updated or new information provided by voters.
Track member signup, pledge to vote commitments and ride to the polls requests.
Provide regular feedback regarding ACT's target population and their top issues.
Voter Engagement Training
Attend team meetings to stay updated on campaign strategies, messaging, and best practices.
Attend mandatory training to develop and enhance your phone banking skills, learn best practices and tools for the job, and effectively tell your personal story to build a narrative that emphasizes the role of Africans in voter turnout.

**Available Shift:**

**Qualifications:**
Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have high school diploma or GED. Current CPR and First Aid Certification. Clear the local jurisdiction requirements for criminal background and/or fingerprinting. Must have the critical skill of being able to relate to parents, school staff and children and have a positive, creative attitude.
**Working Conditions:**
Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time. Must be physically active to play games and sports with the children. Must be able to pick-up at least 35 pounds. Must have visual acuity to observe all children.

Title: Ultimate Survival Camp Leader Reporting to: Ultimate Survival Programme Manager Contract: Seasonal work available during Summer holidays. Hours: 8am - 6pm weekdays. Additional Hours: 3 additional hours may be required on Thursday nights (6-9PM) for Campfire Cookout (site dependent). If this is required, you will be paid overtime.
Summary of Position:
Survival Leaders are responsible for the successful delivery of our outdoor adventure programme, Ultimate Survival. Delivering a variety of bushcraft and outdoor activities, they lead from the front, managing a team of Survival Instructors, both inspiring and supporting them through their roles.
Survival Leaders are responsible for the welfare and safety of children on-site, ensuring the camps' adherence to policies and procedures, and acting as a contact for key stakeholders including parents, staff, school representatives and Head Office. Camp Leaders are the face of our outdoor programme, and are expected to uphold and maintain company values and carry out their role with the utmost professionalism.

About You
Essential Requirements:
● Extensive experience in a childcare and/or education setting.
● A natural leader with management experience, ideally within the outdoor education, holiday camp, or childcare sectors.
● Excellent communicator, with strong face-to-face customer service skills. Candidates must be confident in their ability to talk to parents and host school staff.
● Good working knowledge of bushcraft activities.
● Good decision maker, able to quickly assess and make informed judgements, reacting to varied situations that arise on Camp.
● Be able to attend all required Training sessions prior to starting your role.
● Someone looking for a challenging but hugely rewarding and fun job in the Summer, looking to further their career in the childcare, teaching, or the outdoor education industry.
Desirable Requirements:
● Previous experience within outdoor education, with a specific focus on bushcraft.
● Hold a Paediatric First Aid Qualification (12 hour)
● Hold relevant NGBs or experience in all or some of the following: Archery, Bushcraft, Slacklining, Canoeing or Environmental studies. Benefits:
