AVAILABILITY: We currently have two full-time shifts available: Monday - Thursday 2 PM to 10 PM, and Sunday - Thursday 10 PM to 6 AM
COMPENSATION: $14.50 to $20 per hour, depending on experience. $1 per hour increase after completion of a med-aide course.

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
It is necessary to have a basic grasp and a sincere interest in the treatment of elderly people. Although not necessary, prior health-related experience is beneficial. There is extensive on-the-job training.
CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Universal Workers are enrolled in online continuing education courses. They are paid for the time they spend completing these courses.
GENERAL JOB SUMMARY
Our tenant's personal care and support are the responsibility of Universal Workers. They aid with personal hygiene, such as clothing, grooming, bathing, and feeding. Under the supervision of the nursing staff, Universal Workers may be asked to take vital signs or carry out other health-related duties. They are also in charge of monitoring and informing the nursing staff of any changes in the physical and mental well-being of tenants. During the first six weeks of work, Universal Workers are required to finish a medication management course. Strong teamwork and communication abilities are essential.

We are a faith-based, not-for-profit, small-town, caring community. Our recently remodeled facility has 50 skilled nursing beds, 16 dementia care rooms, and 28 assisted living rooms. The community also includes 57 independent living units.
Qualifications
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENT
Lifting Requirements: Universal Workers will frequently be called upon to lift various items between 10 and 50 lbs. Universal Workers will occasionally be required to lift over 50 lbs. while assisting with transfers. Push/pull requirements of 40 lbs. are common.

Essential Functions
Maintains up-to-date licensure and certifications required for position.
Provides procedural assistance as a circulating tech, scrub tech, or monitoring tech, according to Angio lab policies and procedures and Scope of Practice documents.
Ensures proper patient identification, order verification, and prepares the patient for the exam.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
The professional registered nurse Outpatient RN CAP 1 is an entry level designation into the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP). PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
All duties and responsibilities are expected to be performed in accordance with Fresenius Kidney Care policy, procedures, standards of nursing practice, state and federal regulations.
· Performs all essential functions under the direction of the Supervisor and with guidance from the Clinical Educator, Preceptor or in collaboration with other Registered Nurses.
· Performs ongoing, systematic collection and analysis of patient data pre - during - post hemodialysis treatment for assigned patients and documents in the patient medical record, makes adjustments or modifications to treatment plan as indicated and notifies Team Leader, Charge Nurse, Supervisor or Physician as needed.
· Assesses, collaborates, and documents patient/family's basic learning needs to provide initial and ongoing education to patients and family.
· Directs and provides, in collaboration with direct and ancillary patient care staff, all aspects of the daily provision of safe and effective delivery of hemodialysis therapy to assigned patients.
