Job Description
Plexus Scientific Corporation, Nuclear Solutions Division (NSD) is seeking a consulting senior health physicist and project manager who will also assist with business development activities. This person should have 12 or more years of experience in the nuclear industry who will take on a leadership role within our NSD.
Responsibilities
Project management is an important role to the position. The position will support a variety of projects including radiation protection program support for NSD and our clients, special projects and program improvements that address license and regulatory requirements, site characterization, remediation, decommissioning, waste management, and other nuclear-related projects. Responsibilities include supervising NSD staff, developing project work plans, radiation protection plans, and assisting with development and implementation of quality assurance plans for site investigation and decommissioning projects. The position also offers opportunities to serve as the Radiation Safety Officer for client radiation protection programs, preparation and implementation of radiation safety plans/procedures, waste disposal, planning and oversight of radiation surveys and inspections, report preparation, conducting radiation safety training, and other radiological support services for our clients. The individual will also lead or assist with proposal development and marketing.
Qualifications
Applicant must hold a bachelor's or graduate degree from an accredited college or university in physical science or engineering or in a biological science with a minimum of 20 semester hours in physical science with 12+ years of experience in the field. Certification by the American Board of Health Physics or actively pursuing certification is a requirement. Experience must include serving as a consulting health physicist and exercising judgment in several of the following areas:
site investigation and decommissioning consistent with MARSSIM and NUREG 1757 guidance,
establishment and evaluation of radiation protection programs,
design and the evaluation of the radiation protection aspects of a facility,
design and implementation of a radiation protection training course or program,
development of an experimental and/or measurement program designed to answer questions related to radiation protection,
evaluation of measurement data,
analysis and solution of radiation protection problems,
preparation, interpretation and implementation of recommendations and regulations,
technical report preparation.
Experience should also include project management, decommissioning, decontamination, or environmental remediation, training, and team leadership skills.
Candidates must have strong verbal and written communication, knowledge of Microsoft software products, Adobe Acrobat, and other software tools used by Plexus for projects, such as RESRAD, MicroShield, Varskin, and Low-Track or other radiation protection-related software products.

ERM is hiring Lead Wetland Delineators for projects located across the US. The role of a wetland delineator requires technical skills, as well as strong organizational and communication skills. Interacting with and serving as a point of contact with agency officials, regulatory agency staff, landowners, contractors, clients and other project members and conducting required agency notifications.

Providing technical leadership, support and direction to field staff. This includes the coordination of daily Environmental Inspector and Resource Monitor schedules and conducting morning construction meetings.

Experience working in and throughout Virginia.
Experience working with VA SWPP Guidelines
BS or BA degree or a minimum of 5 years equivalent environmental inspection experience.

Responsibilities The Food Service Director plans, directs and coordinates the activities associated with running a single site, stand-alone food service operation in a facility with only one kitchen and less than 1,000 inmates/beds.
