    This position focuses on hunting and acquiring net-new business through both self-developed lead generation and following-up on leads generated through marketing efforts. Success in this role is measured by new revenue-producing logos added-this is a true hunter role. The ideal candidate has experience in long sales cycles, complex supply chain solutions, and securing enterprise-level RFP opportunities. But at the same time is familiar with how to create “base-hits” to get access to organization and drive speed-to-revenue. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Own the full sales cycle from initial capabilities call to contract signing and first shipment. Convert scheduled decision-maker meetings into meaningful relationships and RFP invitations. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate both SMB's and Fortune 1000 companies, focusing on key industries such as CPG, Manufacturing, and Retail as well as others. Navigate and build relationships with multiple stakeholders within large organizations, including procurement, supply chain, and logistics executives. Work closely with internal operations and pricing teams to develop competitive bids and proposals. Ensure a seamless onboarding process for new clients. Maintain an expert understanding of PLS Logistics' service offerings, value proposition, and competitive differentiation. Track and report on sales pipeline, revenue targets, and conversion metrics using CRM tools. Represent PLS Logistics at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build pipeline and brand awareness. Qualifications 5+ years of enterprise sales experience, preferably in logistics, transportation, or supply chain solutions. Proven success in a "hunter" sales role from mid-size to large complex organizations. Strong knowledge of RFPs, and long sales cycles. Ability to build relationships at multiple levels within large organizations, from procurement teams to C-suite executives. Capable of generating “base-hits” in short periods and create customer drive POC's. Experience in managing complex sales processes and working with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with supply chain performance metrics, such as on-time pickup, on-time delivery, and carrier compliance. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Highly motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented with a track record of exceeding quotas. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Sales, or a related field preferred but not required. Electrical systems including starters, alternators and lights. HVAC systems. Steering systems. Electronics to include ECM's, ECU's, sensors etc. Engine bolt on items such as turbos, fan clutches, cooling system etc. Brake systems including ABS & air disk brakes. Suspension systems (spring and air) including tire issues, and after treatment devices such as DPF and DOC Perform electrical system repairs, cooling system maintenance and preform complete vehicle diagnosis Perform mechanical and general appearance reconditioning of equipment for "trade-ins" and prepare new equipment for delivery Must be annual vehicle inspector certified and brake inspector certified (per DOT requirements) Perform all levels of PM services on truck and trailing equipment as well as DOT inspections Identify warrantable repairs and document on repair order Maintain work area appearance and safely Road test vehicles when necessary to diagnose malfunctions or to ensure that they are working properly Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, and precision instruments, as well as power tools such as pneumatic wrenches, welding equipment, and jacks and hoists Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery Ensure compliance with DOT standards and properly document work completed Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using test instruments such as handheld computers, wiring diagrams, and pressure gauges Examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices.
