The warehousetechnician will be responsible for a range of activities within the warehousing, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment sections of our production operation. The position requires the organization of a wide range of materials, and communication with an array of internal and external customers. The ideal candidate must possess a high degree of flexibility, strong attention to detail, the ability to competently respond to direction and meet scheduling demands, and the ability to satisfy physical demands of the position, including the operation of electric and manual pallet jacks. Applicants for this position must be extremely safety conscious.
Core Duties & Responsibilities
Preparing merchandise for shipment
Loading of trucks, and labeling of shipping information
Receiving parts and other merchandise
Properly and accurately cataloging received and shipped inventory
Order fulfillment for various production and research and development departments
Inventory control
Frequent lifting, bending, and pulling
Operation of material handling equipment, including fork lifts and pallet jacks
Clear and professional communication with shipping and receiving coordinators, purchasing agents, warehouse and production supervisors, production staff, and engineering staff
Operation of a Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Professionally communicate with outside vendors and customers
Occasional operation of hand tools
Assist where need as directed by the Warehouse Cell Leader and Materials Lead
Travel as required for business needs; expected to drive safely and to adhere to all traffic laws
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, and Avante inventory management preferred
Ability to manage time effectively
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent verbal communication skills, strong written communication skills
Knowledge of warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory management preferred

Pay Rate:
$16.20 - $21.40

2) Inspects truck/container for the condition of temperature and cleanliness and reports any abnormality to management.

5) Check picked orders for accuracy of lot numbers, quantities, and document completion.

9) For less than truck load (LTL) palletized shipments; scan, palletize cases, weigh and stretch-wrap truck orders.
10) Create, check, or print Bill of Lading (BOL), packing slips, and accurately stage for shipping or receiving as required.
11) Confirms and compares all identifying information and counts items to verify information against BOL, packing lists, invoices, orders, or other records.
12) Verifies and files records of all receiving and shipping documentation at the time of delivery and receipt.
13) Inputs receipts into SAP, utilizing both radio frequency (RF) scanning devices and desktop or laptop terminals.
14) Loading and unloading of trucks as assigned.
15) Supports inventory cycle counts, as required by Inventory Control.
16) Observe all safety guidelines; inform Supervisor of any safety hazards; attend all required safety training classes.
17) Able to operate material handling equipment as necessary to move materials while complying with all safety and power industrial truck operating rules.
18) Responsible to learn all applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and be fully compliant with all regulations regarding the handling, storage, and shipping of Dangerous Drugs and Medical Devices.

What You Will Contribute:
Step into a role that keeps our entire operation moving. As the leader of daily warehouse activities, you'll oversee everything from inventory accuracy to shipping coordination, freight scheduling, warehouse layout, and team training. This position is essential to ensuring products flow efficiently, customers receive orders on time, and the warehouse environment stays organized, safe, and optimized for success.
This position will be responsible for the daily warehouse operations at the distribution branches locations. Duties include, but are not limited to, helping design warehouse layout, inventory audits, inventory control, receiving product, assigning or reassigning locations, pulling and shipping orders as well as getting freight quotes from multiple different vendors and coordinating freight shipments. This position will also be tasked with the training of all personnel assigned to this area.
Job Duties:
Take responsibility for all daily activities related to warehouse function, including but not limited to - shipping, receiving, cycle counts & overall organization of warehouse.
Enter received product into Badger Meter's system.
Report any damaged receiving goods to freight shipment companies to open claims and tracking these through resolution.
Schedule outgoing freight shipments.
Coordinate with customer's when they would like to receive shipments and notify the freight carrier.
Perform daily cycle counts and investigating any discrepancies with quantities or bin locations - work with branch manager to help plan for inventory getting low on specific products.
Learn different customers specific specifications to correctly fulfill orders shipped out of the warehouse.
Organize and maintain returned product and non-conformance inventory to accurate reflect counts. Responsible for processing through completion.
Load/unload freight and/or packages from delivery/pickup vehicles; this may require employee to work overtime to receive the last truck.
Liaison between the shipping staff, internal departments, and freight forwarders to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders. Arranges transportation schedules with carriers.
Use appropriate packaging materials to ensure all products/parts are properly packaged to prevent damage and/or loss.
Complete pre-packaging and/or final packaging of customer orders.
Education and Experience:
High school degree/GED required

Ensures that identification cards, fuel cards, route keys, deposits, moneybags, receipts, daily guide sheets, change boxes, firearms, monies and other route equipment are collected at end of shift.
Performs Driver/Messenger or Crew Leader duties as requested.
May be required to handle ATM dispatch and other calls.
Additional job duties may be assigned as necessary.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Must have all required driver's licenses and must maintain a satisfactory driving record.
Must have a high school diploma/general equivalency diploma or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Must obtain and maintain all required guard and gun permits per state.

Consolidated Pipe & Supply is a full line supplier, fabricator and manufacturer of pipe, valve, and fitting products and services to the natural gas, waterworks, energy and industrial sectors.
Summary:
The employee in this position will be responsible for making local deliveries in our warehouse vehicle, on a daily basis, between one or more locations. Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds is required. Work environment includes company vehicle and warehouse, plant or production areas with periods of continual driving/sitting and occasional standing or walking. The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing is required. Forklift experience is a plus but not required. Must have a clean driving record and have a medical card. Pre-employment drug screening will be required post offer.
Class A CDL preferred. Experience in the water/sewer utilities field is a plus.
Job Functions (Duties, Responsibilities, and Requirements):
The primary duties consist of (but are not limited to) the following:
Follow safety rules and work procedures.
Prepares receipts for load picked up. May maintain truck log, according to state and federal regulations.
Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.
Position blocks and/or tie rope around items to secure cargo during transit.
May load and unload truck; inspect truck equipment and supplies, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water; and/or perform emergency roadside repairs, such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, tire chains, and spark plugs.
Cleans work area or vehicle.
Performs other duties as needed.

explosive. Employees will also be required to pass a yearly baseline physical and fit test for respirator/Self Contained Breathing Apparatus. Work may be performed in hazardous areas that require respiratory protection and personal protective equipment (PPE), and under slippery and wet conditions.
This position may be exposed to excessive noise, moving objects and vehicles.
