Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plumber II to join our Service Experts HVAC and Plumbing team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading plumbing projects, performing advanced installations, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plumbing systems. The ideal candidate should possess extensive knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and strong leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead plumbing projects, including new installations, remodeling, repairs, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
· Interpret and analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to plan plumbing system layouts and installations.
· Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
· Estimate materials, equipment, and labor costs for plumbing projects.
· Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to discuss project requirements, timelines, and progress.
· Supervise and provide guidance to junior plumbers and apprentices.
· Clean up job sites and ensure proper disposal of waste materials.
· Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, drains, and water heaters.
· Cut, thread, and bend pipes using advanced tools and techniques.
· Weld, solder, or join pipes using approved methods.
· Conduct thorough inspections of plumbing systems to identify and diagnose complex issues or defects.
· Troubleshoot plumbing problems and provide effective solutions.
· Coordinate with suppliers to procure plumbing materials and equipment.
· Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
· Train and mentor junior plumbers, apprentices, and helpers.
· Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and regulations.

· Reports any unsafe acts, conditions and hazards to direct supervisor/manager immediately
· Reports any contravention of legislation or company policy, procedure or program to direct supervisor/manager immediately
· Corrects substandard acts or conditions within area of control
· Uses and maintains appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as prescribed by company program(s) or procedure(s)
· Never removes or renders ineffective any safety guards, devices, or clothing prescribed to be in place or worn
· Complies with the general rules as prescribed by company program(s) procedure(s)
· Operates devises or equipment as prescribed by company program(s) or procedure(s)
· Participates in any safety initiatives, teams, or committees
· Reports all injuries or incidents as prescribed by company program(s) or procedure(s) immediately
· Provides input on developing safety initiatives and plans to eliminate exposures that could cause accidents
Desired Skills and Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Proven experience as a Plumber I or 2-4 years+ in a plumbing role.
· Thorough knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices.
· Extensive experience in interpreting and analyzing blueprints and technical drawings.
· Strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials, and tools.
· Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
· Effective communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
· Valid driver's license.
Working Conditions:
· This position may involve physical labor and working in confined spaces or at heights.
· Work may be performed indoors or outdoors, depending on the project.
· Exposure to various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and humidity.

Your Duties and Responsibilities
Examines specifications, architectural blueprints, and shop drawings to ascertain necessary tools and equipment and the proper sequence for installation.
Adheres to specified hanger spacing and load requirements in accordance with specifications and owner preferences.
Mounts and repairs various plumbing fixtures including sinks, toilets, bathtubs, urinals, water heaters, water softeners, and more.
Sets up sleeves and leave outs for roof and wall penetrations.
Cuts, expands, and solders copper tubing/piping, brazes, solvent welds, fuses, grooves, and threads pipes using pipe cutters, reamers, torches, alloy gaskets, solvent cements, fusion machines, press fittings, grooving machines, and pipe-threading machines.
Assembles and installs valves, pipes, and fittings.
Connects pipes using mechanical soldering, brazing, and other pipe joining techniques.
Pressurizes pipe systems with water or air and reads gauges to detect any system leaks.
Help with layout and train apprentice plumbers.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Successful completion of High School Diploma or GED is necessary.
A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Plumbing Journeyman in the commercial sector.
Proficiency in working with copper, PVC, and other plastics.
Must have reliable transportation.

Your Duties and Responsibilities

Adheres to specified hanger spacing and load requirements in accordance with specifications and owner preferences.
Mounts and repairs various plumbing fixtures including sinks, toilets, bathtubs, urinals, water heaters, water softeners, and more.
Sets up sleeves and leave outs for roof and wall penetrations.
Cuts, expands, and solders copper tubing/piping, brazes, solvent welds, fuses, grooves, and threads pipes using pipe cutters, reamers, torches, alloy gaskets, solvent cements, fusion machines, press fittings, grooving machines, and pipe-threading machines.
Assembles and installs valves, pipes, and fittings.
Connects pipes using mechanical soldering, brazing, and other pipe joining techniques.
Pressurizes pipe systems with water or air and reads gauges to detect any system leaks.
Help with layout and train apprentice plumbers.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Successful completion of High School Diploma or GED is necessary.
