If so, take the next step and start building your career with us today. **Responsibilities:** + Alignment to Clark Standards of Excellence: Self-Motivated, Results Oriented, Adaptable, Team Player, Accountable, Ethical, Innovative, Resilient, Builds Relationships + Selects type and size of pipe and related materials and equipment, such as supports, hangers, and valves, according to job specifications. + Assists foreman in planning the sequence of installation to avoid obstructions and activities of other workers. + Cuts pipe using a pipe cutter, pipe saw, power tools (band saw), and pipe cutting machine. + Threads pipe using threading machine. + Knowledge in safe operation of Victaulic roll grooving and cut groove operations. + Mounts pipe hangers and brackets on walls and ceiling to hold pipe. + Assembles and installs a variety of metal or nonmetal pipes and pipe fittings, using threaded, wrapped, soldering, brazen, fused, or cemented joints, and hand tools. + Secures pipes to structure with bracket, clamps, and hangers, using hand and power tools. + Knowledge in safe and professional testing of piping systems for leaks by increasing pressure in pipes and observing gauges attached to pipes for indication of leaks. + Observes and complies with all safety and project rules and all company policies and procedures. + Has working knowledge of working around heavy machinery to include hydraulic and lattice cranes. + Ability to rig and signal loads as required. + Ability to set and align process equipment like pumps and blowers. + Conducts field layout of the piping system and calculates offsets, miters, and fittings as required. + Performs other duties as required. **Qualifications:** + Always attentive to detail and alert to ensure safety. + Ability to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers. + Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines. + Ability to read drawings including but not limited to pipe shop drawings, mechanical drawings, and P&ID's + Excellent physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy objects. + Good communication skills **Physical Demands** The physical demands described below are representative of those necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role on a construction site. This role requires significant physical exertion, including the ability to navigate active construction areas with uneven terrain, temporary and permanent stairs, ladders, scaffolding, and personnel hoists. The employee must frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing over 50 pounds with assistance or team lifting techniques. The employee must possess sufficient physical dexterity and balance to work safely at various heights and in confined spaces. Visual acuity (including close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus) is essential for tasks such as reading instructions, operating equipment, and ensuring safety.
