So what am I going to be doing on a daily basis?
Under general supervision, maintain the flow and drainage of water, air, and other gases by assembling, installing, and repairing pipes, fittings, and plumbing fixtures. Maintain and provide for the safe condition and operation of all plumbing systems for customers. Ensure all installation is done in a professional manner that meets current code requirements. Ensure customer satisfaction on all jobs.
Responsible for troubleshooting, installations, repairs, and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing mechanisms while providing top-notch customer service.
Plan, assemble, install, maintain, and pressure test all pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, drainage and gas systems according to specifications and plumbing codes for both residential and commercial systems.
Determine sources of plumbing malfunctions and complete repairs as indicated or according to work orders.
Install and repair pipes, fittings, valves, fixtures, and plumbing system equipment, including sinks, commodes, water heaters, water softeners, etc.
Repair gas/water utility lines & drainage that serve applicable appliances (dishwashers, kitchen equipment, fireplaces, etc.)
Repair and/or install plumbing fixtures and related devices including sinks, water closets, urinals, faucets, drinking fountains (excluding electrical connections), domestic water heaters and related devices.
Oversee and perform troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance of plumbing equipment including faucets, flush valves, sinks, water heaters, commodes, domestic water heater pumps, flush meters, valves and water meters.
Receive and complete work orders.
Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean, and ensure proper billing, invoicing and daily documentation of activities are completed.
Maintain your truck so that it is neat and clean on the inside and outside at all times. The truck is one of the best billboards that the company has. Park the truck for the maximum impact of the “billboard” when possible.

Job Summary
The Master Plumber is responsible for leading complex plumbing installations and owning quality control for modular homes at Mytikas Industries's production facility. This role trains and mentors junior plumbers, oversees plumbing scope to ensure compliance with design specifications and applicable codes, and partners with production teams to deliver high-quality builds on schedule. The Master Plumber operates with limited supervision and plays a key leadership role in the plumbing team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead complex plumbing installations, including advanced piping systems, fixtures, and appliances, for modular homes.
Conduct quality control checks to ensure plumbing systems meet design specifications, industry standards, and code requirements.
Train and mentor Entry- and Mid-Level Plumbers, providing guidance on installation techniques, safety practices, and code compliance.
Troubleshoot and resolve advanced plumbing issues, ensuring system reliability and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with plumbing codes (e.g., IPC), safety standards, and industry regulations, including supporting/overseeing inspections as needed.
Read and interpret advanced blueprints and schematics to guide plumbing planning and execution.
Collaborate with production teams to align plumbing work with project goals, sequencing, and schedules.
Lead process improvements to enhance plumbing system efficiency, safety, and quality outcomes.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
7+ years of plumbing experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role (manufacturing or construction preferred).
8,500 hours of documented practical experience per Colorado DORA requirements (as provided).
Master Plumber license issued by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) (required).
Expert proficiency installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex plumbing systems.
Advanced knowledge of plumbing codes (e.g., IPC), safety regulations, and industry standards.

Using pipe cutters, cutting torch, and pipe-threading machine, bends pipe to required angle by use of pipe-bending machine, or by placing pipe over block and bending it by hand.
Assembles and installs valves, pipefittings, and pipes composed of metals, such as iron, steel, brass and lead, and nonmetals, such as glass, vitrified clay, and plastic.
Joins pipe by use of screws, bolts, fittings, solder, plastic solvent, and caulks joints, fills pipe system with water or air and reads pressure gauges to determine whether system is leaking, installs and repairs plumbing fixtures, such as sinks, commodes, bathtubs, water heaters, hot water tanks, garbage disposal units, dishwashers, and water softeners.
Repairs and maintains plumbing by replacing washers in leaky faucets, mending burst pipes, and opening clogged drains, and may weld holding fixtures to steel structural members.
Documents maintenance actions in IEMS system.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School Diploma required.
Minimum of 3 years related experience.
Must be able to successfully complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (Tier 1) background check.
Must be able to maintain ability to access government worksite.
Must be able to work alternate and extended shift schedules when necessary to meet the customer's mission requirements, including weekends and holidays.
Must be able to perform on-call duties when necessary and report to work within the required timeframe from notification.
Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license and a safe driving record, in accordance with company policy, to operate vehicles or equipment as required for the position.
Physical Demands / Work Environment:
Must be able to perform duties under adverse weather conditions (extreme cold / heat, etc.). Outside work in winter, summer, rain, sleet, and snow and on uneven terrain - side hills and slopes.
Duties will require frequent periods of sitting, standing, kneeling, walking, crouching, bending, crawling, reaching, and balancing. Physically fit to frequently bend, stoop, and lift in awkward positions and able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
