Job Duties: • Determine if gas, water, and sewage equipment are in working order while providing necessary repairs or replacement of faulty equipment or material. Provide cost estimates to perform repairs. Order parts and material for the repair of any and all plumbing items. • Inspect plumbing and heating equipment to insure all systems are working correctly and are in serviceable condition via a recurring work program system. • Use specialized tools and material in the plumbing trade to include sewer machines, pipe threaders, jack hammer, soldering and/or brazing torch. Install any and all plumbing fixtures to include underground piping, sinks, boilers, toilets, back flow devices, water heaters, and drinking fountains. • Ensure all work complies with both national and local building codes. Install, inspect and test back flow devices per USC manual. • Ensure proper operation of plumbing systems after repair or installation by inspection. Ensure all new material installations are captured and recorded with the Civil Engineer Operations Production Control section for record keeping.
