The Master Plumber is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in various residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The Master Plumber will lead and supervise other plumbers and ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations. pipes, fixtures, and appliances like water heaters, sinks, and toilets. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee projects from start to finish ensuring completion within budget and all work is completed to relevant buildings codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. Communicate with clients, architects, and other construction professionals to ensure plumbing systems meet project specifications. Conducts inspections of work sites to ensure that the work conforms and complies within job specifications. Interpret and prepare work orders and estimates with respect to time and materials used. Troubleshoot complex issues, organize work, interpret blueprints, sketches, diagrams, and specifications, and provide technical guidance. Install, repair, maintain pipes, fixtures, and appliances such as water heaters, sinks, faucets, drains and toilets, urinals. Maintain and install pressurized pipes in water tanks, pump systems, boilers and furnaces. Installs, tests, and repairs all sizes of backflow prevention devices. Test plumbing systems for leaks and other problems. Supervise and mentor apprentice and journeyman plumbers, providing guidance and training. Skills and Qualifications: Proven work experience and minimum of 5 years of professional history as a Master Plumber Valid Plumbing license Deep knowledge of plumbing regulations, methods, tools, instruments, equipment, and safety. Ability and desire to lead and direct a team in troubleshooting and emergency repairs The physical ability to climb stairs, ladders, scaffolds, stand, walk, sit, bend, reach, stoop, crouch, crawl, squat, kneel, grasp, manipulate hand and power tools Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
