Measure, cut, thread and install pipe in new and existing steam, water air and vacuum lines. Repair and/or install water, steam, and condensate lines; hot water heater, valves, traps and radiators. Repair pipes by soldering and threading. Installing, operating, and modifying various supply, disposal, and utility systems and equipment such as water, gas, sprinklers, hot water tanks, toilets, urinals, water coolers, etc. Winterize facilities (i.e. stadiums). Qualifications High school diploma, completion of G.E.D., or equivalent vocational school or short-term courses resulting in Master Plumbers License. Five or more years of experience in related trade experience as maintenance and repair technician preferably in a public sector. Current Master Plumber and Master Gas Fitter license from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Board of State Examiners. Commonwealth of Massachusetts Driver's License - Class D Special Requirements Certified in Plumbing Design desired. Certification in Welding, Mega-press and or Pro-press desired.
