QUALIFICATIONS OF A PLUMBING INSTALLER / PLUMBER

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experienced plumber
• Valid plumbing licensure (preferred)
• Current driver's license with a clean driving record

Who/What Are We Looking For?
Proficient in residential remodeling of kitchens and bathrooms Work outside occasionally on sewer and water service repairs/replacements Breaking of concrete floors and replacing drain lines below the slab and reinstalling the concrete Doing intricate tasks such as caulking tile and installing fixtures, faucets and vanities Someone who can respectfully work with a helper on a full range of projects from replacing a toilet to re-piping an entire home Enjoys being a team member and has a positive attitude Works well with our clients and makes great effort to protect their homes from damage Takes pride in his/her work Thread pipe, solder pipes, make proper pipe transitions between dissimilar materials Knowledgeable of current code requirements but does not necessarily need to be licensed Able to operate a backhoe would be helpful but not necessary

Candidates should have some
Residential Changeout Install Experience
and a thorough
understanding of the maintenance of residential plumbing systems
. Experience working with gas lines and venting as well as the installation of tankless water heaters is helpful.

Installation Technicians provide our residential customers with
exceptional service
and solutions to the repairs and installation of plumbing, drain cleaning, evaporative coolers and sprinkler systems. They are responsible for maintaining customer health, safety and their upmost satisfaction of services performed.


Benjamin Franklin Installers are also responsible for:

• The installation, repair and service of traditional and tankless water heaters, water service piping, home plumbing repair, bathroom remodels, kitchen remodels, sewer repairs and replacements
• The application of all codes to installations, repairs and maintenance
• Accurate documentation of work completed

Those qualified should:

• Have verifiable plumbing installation (changeout) experience in a residential service and maintenance company
• Be available to work nights and weekends when needed
• Sound knowledge of fundamental plumbing field concepts, best practices and procedures
• Possess a personal confidence and a strong desire to serve
• Have all necessary tools

All Installation Technicians are expected to have a clean, neat appearance, appropriate tools, a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, as well as undergo a thorough background check. Certifications are a plus but not required. A high school diploma or GED is required.
