QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN PLUMBING INSTALLATION MECHANIC / RESIDENTIAL NEW CONSTRUCTION

  • 2-3 years of new home construction experience (no cape required)
  • Hands-on knowledge of residential plumbing construction
  • Driver's license and a good driving record (the ability to fly is not required, though it would be awesome)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Heatproof & shrinking powers (or at least the ability to work out in the summer heat as well as in tight spaces such as attics and crawlspace)
  • Own hand tools used by plumbing mechanics

  • Appliance repairs including replacement or installation of major appliances.
  • Perform routine, repetitive daily inspection and maintenance necessary to building exterior/interior.
  • Perform installation, maintenance, repair and construction work in the basic building maintenance trades, such as carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, locksmith, and carpets.

  • Other Qualifications : Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include off-shift hours and weekend assignments. Must be able to operate a forklift, light truck and other related motorized equipment. Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime. Must have a valid driver's license.
