About the role:
As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for 2nd shift you will provide off-shift engineering support for quality and equipment troubleshooting for the critical plant processes
You will report to the Lead Engineer and be located at Blairsville, PA. You will support this role 100% onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide task/project level updates to all appropriate all partners.

Suggest sources of manufacture and develop new sources with Purchasing.
Apply modern engineering science (such as lean manufacturing concepts, six-sigma methodology, and statistical process analysis) theories to improve the efficiency of manufacturing processes.
Analyze and recommend use of technological innovations in machinery and manufacturing techniques to solve complex manufacturing problems
Qualifications:
B.S. in Engineering or Engineering Technology
3+ years of applicable manufacturing experience required

Annual Base Salary for newly appointed CBPOs varies as follows:
GS-9: $61,111 - $124,443 per year

The Assistant Technician will assist the Level II NDE Technician with the designated NDT method activities while gaining experience and knowledge.
