Under limited supervision, the Qualified Assistant (QA) supports the Director of Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) in planning, coordinating, and administering all aspects of the BLET program and related law enforcement training initiatives. Work in this classification is considered medium physical work requiring the exertion of up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
