We are seeking dedicated, detail-oriented animal lovers to join our **Oncology** and **Surgery** teams as Technician Assistants. These departments offer a unique opportunity to support complex, medically intensive patient care and to learn from highly skilled veterinary technicians and specialists.
**About the Role**
As a Technician Assistant in our Surgery or Oncology service, you will play a key part in patient flow and team support.
Your day may include:
- Safely restraining patients for diagnostics, treatments, and specialty procedures
- Preparing and maintaining sterile work areas and surgical spaces
- Supporting oncology patients with empathy, precision, and close attention to comfort
- Assisting the specialty technicians and doctors with daily tasks and case coordination
- Handling patient transport, cleaning protocols, and equipment setup
- Multi-tasking in a fast-paced, team-centered clinical environment

Previous professional dog-handling experience is preferred. Must be 18 or older to apply. Enthusiasm and energy are a plus.
**Position Details**
- Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
- Shifts: 6-, 8-, or 10-hour shifts available
- Some weekends and holidays required
- Evening and night shifts available
- Pay range: $18.00-$19.00 per hour, based on experience
