Learn more at *********************** or visit **************************** Key Responsibility: * Collect, label, and appropriately store solid, liquid, and aerosol wastes generated from aerosol can production. * Accurately record all waste volumes and types according to established procedures. * Complete all disposal and shipping paperwork accurately, ensuring full regulatory compliance. * Maintain up-to-date inventory records and waste logs to support proper tracking and reporting. * Prepare, load, and unload waste containers to and from disposal and refurbishment facilities. * Coordinate with the EHS Manager to schedule timely waste pickups and shipments. * Ensure proper container labeling, compatibility, and segregation at all times. Additional Responsibilities: * Conduct and maintain documented routine inspections of: * Central Accumulation areas * Satellite Accumulation areas * General waste storage areas * Identify and properly dispose of damaged waste containers, replacing them according to established procedures. * Assist in spill response, cleanup, and containment efforts as trained. * Perform additional duties as assigned to support waste management and EHS operations. Qualifications * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. * Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities. * Must have or be able to obtain and maintain the following: * Forklift Certification * Hazard Communication Training (HazCom) * 40-Hour HAZWOPER Training * DOT HazMat Training * Work will be performed in a manufacturing environment, directly around chemicals and aerosol products. * Exposure to industrial noise, odors, and temperature fluctuations is expected. * Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory and provided. * Must be able to wear a Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) and pass a medical clearance check. * Must be able to safely operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks in designated areas. Education and/or Experience * High School Diploma or GED * 3-5 years of prior experience in hazardous waste handling, industrial safety, or manufacturing environments preferred. Compensation: Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position is $21.75/hour. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. They are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of their machinery and the production of quality product at an acceptable rate. Monitor the production line, watching for problems such as pile-ups, james, or glue that isn't sticking properly. Participate in preventative maintenance of equipment.
