About the Role:
As a Tactical Data Scientist within the Data Pillar of Project Overmatch, you will collaborate directly with warfighter end-users to identify operational use cases and develop software prototypes for deployment at edge locations, including onboard ships and shore installations. Your role will encompass data engineering, software development, and providing technical support and training to end-users for the installation, operation, and maintenance of prototype solutions. A strong background in data science, systems engineering, and a deep understanding of naval operations are essential.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain environments to run Data Pillar applications on Impact Level 6 (IL6) and Impact Level 7 (IL7) systems.
Ensure ArcGIS Pro (ArcPro) is available and operational on IL6/IL7 workstations within the work center and watch floor.
Collaborate with the Officer in Charge (OIC) dedicating 5-10 hours weekly to align efforts, communicate across commands, and attend relevant meetings.
Conduct personnel training on Data Pillar processes, products, future developments, and strategic goals for periods exceeding two weeks, preferably onboard ships during Data Science at Sea (DS@S) support efforts or at different Maritime Operations Centers (MOCs) during DS@S support initiatives.
Engage with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions seamlessly into naval operations.
Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users to ensure the effective deployment and utilization of data solutions.
Required Skills and Experience:
8 or more years relevant experience.
Proficiency in Python programming with substantial experience in data engineering.
Demonstrated experience in developing and deploying data-driven solutions in operational environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with military personnel and technical teams.
Familiarity with ArcGIS Pro (ArcPro) and its application in geospatial analysis.
Experience working within Department of Defense (DoD) environments, particularly with Impact Level 6 (IL6) and Impact Level 7 (IL7) systems.
Prior experience in training military personnel on technical solutions and data-driven processes.
Understanding of naval command and control systems and maritime operations.
Education and Certification Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related discipline).

About the role: PMAT is seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team supporting the Naval Operational Architecture under the Overmatch ESS contract. The ideal candidate will have expertise in technical writing and communications within the Navy and/or Department of Defense (DoD). This individual will be responsible for developing, editing, and delivering a wide range of technical documentation, reports, and communications.
Responsibilities:
Technical Documentation Development: Research complex technical subject matter, organize information from multiple sources, and produce high-quality, comprehensible technical documents tailored to diverse audiences.
Document Refinement: Draft, expand, refine, and edit architecture documents, technical concepts, and solutions into comprehensive, compliant, and compelling formats.
