    Salary: The warehouse associate plans, organizes and monitors the receiving, storage and distribution of all items received from suppliers, ensuring a smooth and consistent operation so parts can be located and distributed to proper storage areas in an effective and efficient manner as needed to satisfy internal and external customer requirements. Essential Functions Shipping and receiving of parts, according to ISO standards. Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped. Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas. Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins. Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic. Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department. Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method, per customer request. Assist in counting of physical inventory. Weigh and count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards. May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed. Sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times. Wear the proper safety equipment. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested. Preferred Education and Experience 3 years of prior warehouse clerk experience. Must be able to read and interpret measuring devices such as tape measures, rulers, gauges, and calipers.
