ADDITIONAL INFO: 37.5 hours per week DAYS: Nine month employment SALARY: $26.54 per hour JOB SUMMARY: The principal function of an employee in this class is to provide follow through on delivering Speech and/or Language services through the Individual Education Plan (IEP) plans established by the a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). The SLP-A delivers IEP services under the general supervision of the SLP. The SLP-A assistant maintains documentation of all activities and therapy provided, including tracking of Medicaid charges and reports significant changes in student status to the SLP. Work is performed independently, but under the direct supervision and guidance of the SLP. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a bachelors degree Communication/Disorders.
