Employee inclusion. Team environment.
I don't have any real cons about working at Trillium Staffing.
Commission package.
Leadership team is always willing to hear the employee's side of a situation.
I think the current culture is fine.
By looking up details about the company and position I was interested in.
I believe compensation is on par with the industry average.
Well represented.
Every successful placement that is made.
Positive culture and work environment; exceptional benefits and compensation; work/life balance; feeling supported and valued.
I cannot think of any specific cons of working at Trillium. The cons are more specific to the industry which can be stressful and demanding.
Company-match 401K.
Our leadership is very encouraging and supportive.
I don't have any suggestions or insights on how to improve the culture - I think it's top-notch!
I researched the company website and online reviews.
My compensation is exceptional and far above the industry average.
I believe we have a very diverse demographic within the organization.
The most fulfilling part of my job is helping colleagues and customers.
Working at Trillium provides the opportunity to find your Niche, and succeed personally. It is up to the individual how much we succeed!
We are in a high turnover industry. There are many times it can be hard for support to stay consistent throughout changes and shuffles. It is a fast paced environment where wearing many hats is needed to succeed.
My favorite part of working at Trillium is potential. Everyone has the same opportunity to succeed. This allows those who have the best attitude and work ethic and skill to succeed and make a great living
They lean in on their people and trust their opinions. Before major decisions are made, we are often consulted as middle management.
Continue to grow in support. Investing in middle management to get the most out of all of our workers
I prepared for an interview by learning about the industry, learning about the construction world, and also making sure that I had an understanding of sales and how I could succeed in that role
I believe that my compensation is above average in the industry. Again, opportunity is there for Trillium workers to be very well compensated for their success
I believe there is a good bit of diversity and different demographics are represented. We are focused on people who are best fits for their role and have highest desire to succeed
The atmosphere of growth and desire to win in the market makes me buy into what Trillium has going. We want to continue on an upward path
The pros of working at Trillium is a work environment that promotes growth, stability, and longevity. A great team, great benefits, and a healthy work environment makes all the difference.
There are not a lot of cons. Trillium is a great company, and the immediate management knows the importance and value of their team while encouraging a positive work culture. The one con that there is, is the fact that the rate for pay is stagnant, and when it does increase, it's at a minimal amount. With the rising costs of inflation and housing, coupled with the hard work that every member of Trillium puts into motion, there should be more consideration to the hourly base rate being increased, including for employees who receive commissions.
Medical benefits are definitely a great perk to being with Trillium, along with the 401K for retirement.
Our immediate leadership team does an incredible job of getting to know their employees and really understanding their operating reality. Whether it's in the tools they need to get the job done, or recognizing the talent and cultivating what they have on their team - the immediate leadership does an incredible job. The CEO adds their own personal touch by keeping in touch on birthdays and anniversaries, and recognizing the hard work every Trillium employee has done to keep the ship sailing.
The best way to improve company culture is to make sure that you are evaluating the culture that we currently have. Trillium does a great job of creating a friendly, safe working environment but there is always room for improvement. Figuring out a way to improve the pay structure would be a beneficial part of encouraging the overall culture of each and every branch.
Doing the best to research the company, learn about their culture, understand what it is to work with their team. I asked questions and really strived to understand what it is that Trillium does.
In researching the range of rates that an employee in my field of work would make, compensation is below average based upon the base rate. The commissions comes close to making it match industry average.
There is a great sense of diversity at Trillium and has been receptive to various perspectives.
It would be the fact that our job is to help others. Whether that is in finding the best job, coaching them on interview processes, great work ethics, or even being a listening ear - the fact that we are in a place to help others brings satisfaction to my role.
The work- life balance it gives.
Salaries could be more competitive.
I like the environment and people
The CEO is very giving to the staff.
I read about the company and prepared my own questions.
I feel my salary is on the lower side of the industry.
I like that I have a schedule that works best for me and my family. The job is not stressful.
Entreprenurial culture that allows you to think independently and grow your business. Amazing culture filled with talented people whose values align.
Growth is consistent and incremental. If you are looking for hypergrowth, it may not be a good fit.
Knowing that the owner and leader cares about me and my success.
They care about my success and they don't cut corners.
More recognition programs.
I researched Trillium and had my ducks in a row with serious questions.
It is in line with the industry standards.
Trillium's in house and field staff employees represent every color and creed.
Seeing my team succeed.
One of the pros of working at Trillium Staffing is it is very gamily oriented.
One of the cons would be the inability to work from home more regularly.
One of my favorite perks or benefits is the flexibility and of course the swag merchandise.
What I like best about the leadership team is that they treat everyone with respect.
I would improve the company culture by having even more team building activities.
I prepare for an interview by doing research on the Company to see if they are the right fit.
I believe the compensation is fair compared to the industry average.
I feel good about the diverse demographic within my organization.
The thing that brings me the most joy in my work is placing people who are looking for employment at a job they can feel good about.
Excellent communication, direction, benefits and pay. Great culture and comradery between the divisions and teams.
Great leadership along with pay and overall benefits
Always positive and updating technology with the times. Willing to listen to our teams and have their boots on the ground. Dedicated to the success of the company. Generaous with pay and benefits.
Similar or above
We have a diverse and knowledgeable team
Leading others to success and contributing to the success of the company.
Culture of people who actually care and work to see the company succeed
Nothing against Trillium specifically, more the staffing industry and people in general. There seems to be more volatility with employment in general, and common courtesy / basic communication is lacking. I would never dream of scheduling an employment interview or accepting a job for example, and simply not showing up.
Autonomy / trust
Rene' is great, although we don't talk much. It is nice working for somebody who has done the role though. Ditto for the rest of the leadership. Lots of years of experience there and they are always happy to help out when called upon.
Maybe more announcements in the division? Highlight collaborations that lead to sales, new people, people hitting new milestones, things like that.
I came on through an acquisition
Above average
Trillium is fine. I haven't ever seen anything here that is remotely racist. We value people as people and focus on the mission
Seeing success from what you built.
Salary structure with bonus and commission potential. Generous PTO time. Flexibility to work remote if needed.
Holiday pay, remote work available if needed, in office lunches and events, great insurance.
I can reach out for help when needed, growth mindset and wanting to expand into other markets & industries.
Nothing to mention at this time.
I believe that the salary package is in line with the industry with the commission.
Ability to help connect our customers with great talent. The team setting and working together as a group on accounts.
Commute is a breeze. Good office environment. Nice people.
Can't think of anything.
Surprise lunches.
They seem to care about me as a person.
Not big on company culture. I like to come in, do my job to the best of my ability, help out where needed and go home.
Updated my resume and was relaxed during the interview.
I don't know what the industry average is. I think the pay rate started out lower than I was used to but I have received annual increases.
I think we have a very diverse group of people.
Doing a good job.
A great work culture that promotes career opportunities and growth.
Slightly behind on the technology piece
I appreciate all of the support from the corporate leaders and support teams. Everyone wants you to be successful here.
The CEO is always making investments in the company
Nothing to pass along.
I don't know how my compensation compares.
We have a very diverse in-house staff.
Developing talented new employees
The pros of working at Trillium Staffing include top tier medical benefits, a competitive salary with an uncapped commission plan, and a bottom-up company management style.
My favorite benefit at Trillium is our generous PTO scale.
I prepared for my interview with Trillium by giving a lot of thought to my strengths and weaknesses so I could highlight the skills that I would bring to the table and set myself apart from other candidates.
Trillium Staffing could improve the company culture by offering opportunities for a hybrid work schedule and a "dress for your day" dress code.
The CEO of Trillium Staffing personally sends birthday and anniversary cards with personal messages to every employee each year. He also purchases backpacks with school supplies for every employee's child each year.
Trillium Staffing offers a competitive salary and an uncapped commission plan. The total compensation package is better than the industry average.
leadership, earning potential, autonomy, growth potential
staffing is tough. disrespect from employees and clients
good health and dental.
Help caring and support.
a formalized training may help get new employees a better chance to be successful earlier in their tenure.
researching, preparing questions.
Compensation at Trillium is at least equal to or greater than the industry average.
Trillium is a fair company that values people of all races on thier team.
Helping an employee further their career. Or helping an employee find a position that suits them well when in a difficult situation.
Learn New Skills, meet New People...
My favorite benefits are PTO and bones check...
He is an awesome CEO. He will be there whenever we need him. The best part is that he gives Christmas bones to employees every year :)
Create opportunities for employees to connect...
Research Trillium along with its history, values and mission. Research your interviewer. Prepare a set of questions. Conduct a mock interview.
Its great compensation at Trillium Staffing compared to the industry average.
Its representation of individuals from various backgrounds, cultures, demographics, and identities.
Build positive relationships with customers and drivers.
We're provided with all the tools and support necessary to perform our jobs effectively and also given a considerable amount of autonomy which is greatly appreciated by experienced staff members.
Nothing significant comes to mind.
The healthcare benefits are quite good, the best I've seen in the staffing industry and health and wellness are regularly promoted.
They are clear about goals and expectations, but they don't micromanage the team. It's a supportive environment that rewards performance.
I would encourage more company gatherings. I think the relationship between corporate and field staff improves as a result of these gatherings.
When I initially interviewed here, I researched the company via the web and also spoke to some of the current employees.
I believe it is competitive, comparable to other significant agencies in the staffing industry.
I believe it is reflective of what you see in other industries and reflective of society in general.
Putting people to work. This is a challenging industry but when you're making placements, and making more money, it's ideal.
The ability to create your own work and working a 8-5. Every branch feels like a small company with the resources of a large one.
Rigid schedule, required to take a one hour lunch, hard to hit all metrics.
Commission
They are proactive instead of reactive and are constantly looking for ways to improve.
Create a little more relaxed and understanding group, things can feel too corporate at times.
I researched what they did, the industry they serviced and how long they had been in business
While base pay is average the opportunity for commission is far above average
This has been an area where there seems to always be improvement
Helping a candidate find that dream job
Tight-knit "family" work environment; everyone knows each other throughout the company. Rene is great in showing appreciation to his people.
Salary is a bit lower than other staffing agencies. It's definitely meant for the sales side to benefit from it, but recruiting plays a HUGE part in our sales, so I wish the pay reflected that better.
PTO
They seem to care. They do show appreciation for their employees in different ways i.e bonuses, back-to-school backpacks, etc.
I would improve it by making it less cliquey.
I prepared for an interview by researching the company and making sure that I was confident in myself.
In my experience, compensation at Trillium Staffing compared to the industry average depends on the side you're on. For recruiting, it's average. Trillium focuses on rewarding those that bring in sales, not the people who have to fill it.
I wish corporate was more vocal about their support for diverse demographics i.e Black History Month, Hispanic Heritage Month, Pride Month, etc. Not to say that it isn't accepted or celebrated within each branch, but wish it was more corporate-wide.
Personally, the most fulfilling part of my job is putting people to work and seeing how their lives change.
I think one of the pros are job security. If you make mistakes, nothing happens as far as correction or disciplinary actions.
One con is lack of accountability. There are people who expect others to do the job for them consistently and when that one person who picks up the slack is too busy, it's not turned around to the one who's always pushing the job dudes off.
One of my favorite benefits or perks is the Christmas bonus you get yearly. It's one of the main reasons I stay.
He's not involved enough for me to answer.
I have no input on this.
I don't feel like I really had to prepare for the interview. The interviewing process was just like any other.
If by compensation you mean pay, I feel like it falls below the industry average.
Good.
The thing that brings me the most joy at work is when i know I've done a good job at something and others recognize it. even though recognition for things like that does not happen often.
The Pros of working at Trillium Staffing are: 1. Culture: Tolerance and understanding of each individual from all levels of management. Cultures are created at the top and cultivated down the line. This company makes anyone who works here feel welcome and able to be successful no matter the person. 2. They take care of their workers. Everyone is taken care of and has ways throughout the year to make some extra money through a multitude of incentives. It helps when you are budgeting and want that "special" thing, but don't want to come out of pocket. Not to mention, compensation and benefits are outstanding. 3. Everyone gets along. I have yet to see any animosity between workers. I've never seen anything like it. Everyone enjoys coming to work and likes the people they work with.
Just 1 con, but it really isn't a con: 1. The work is demanding (yet rewarding) and can be the easiest, difficult job around. When times are tough, there is a support mechanism built into every worker to help you.
Upward mobility. Trillium seems to always be growing and be proactively working on promoting or providing the ability to learn and grow individually.
There is trust down the management line. The CEO/Owner doesn't micromanage from above, and instead lets the people who are on the frontlines and in the day to day make changes to the business.
I couldn't imagine it improving from perfect.
I prepared for an interview by looking up Trillium online and doing some research on the company.
My compensation at Trillium Staffing I would say is competitive with the industry average for any company that provides the commission percentages they offer.
The representation of diverse demographics within Trillium is wide. Without sounding like a bigot, we seem to have all colors, creeds, religious and sexual orientations here.
Personally, the thing that brings me the most joy at work is the competitive environment without it being tarnished by animosity. Its hard in a sales world to be competitive, yet truly enjoy working with your competition. Everyone helps each other learn and grow selflessly, as if they were helping themselves. When we win, we win together and it really feels that way.
Highly supportive work environment. This team is like a family.
IRA match is comparatively low.
There are many events and meals throughout the year to celebrate the employees.
Completely approachable and helpful!!!!!
More work from home opportunities.
Learning as much as I could about the company.
On par with industry average.
I feel there's a high level of diversity here.
The people I work with and the type of work I'm doing. Love it!!
Great opportunities for commission based salary. People here are awesome!
Wish there were maybe some more opportunities to grow and move up the company.
The free company gear and just the overall treatment of the employees.
They are very personable and go out of their way to help you out.
More team/group outings or things we can do together outside of work.
I prepared by just being myself and answering any and all questions honestly.
I'm not sure really what the "industry" average is so i wouldn't be able to truly answer that question.
We are well represented here at Trillium.
The people I'm surrounded with on a daily basis.
Good support from leadership.
The ups and downs of the staffing industry.
4 day work week.
Feel supported by them. The expectations are laid out clearly no matter your position with the company.
Don't know. We are a very diverse company and all are treated with respect.
In the ballpark.
Good. Trillium is a very diverse company.
When special circumstances arise, we come up with a plan and we successfully execute it.
i thought the pros of working for Trillium Staffing are you are exposed to so many different opportunities and you are always learning an having fun. The people we meet and help fulfill us in a way i have not had before.
In my experience, the cons of working for Trillium Staffing is having to deal with rejection. Though it is always tough and hard, i have really learned great ways to deal with it better than ever.
My favorite benefits of working for Trillium is making a difference in peoples lives and the never ending possibility to personally grow.
What I like best about our CEO is he actually cares about all of his employees. He acknowledges our achievements and milestones.
I would improve Trilliums company culture by implementing for diversity training. Not just race or ethnicity, but gender and identities.
I prepared for my interview at Trillium Staffing by looking into what the main ethics and mission of the company is. It also helped that i had a slight insight into the company, with previously being placed at job through Trillium, where i remained for 6 years, until the company permanently closed.
The representation of diverse demographics at Trillium Staffing is well, bu could always improve, like all companies.
In my experience, the compensation at Trillium Staffing when compared to the industry average is a slight bit low, as for a base pay. But we do have to opportunity for commissions and that is performance based and is essentially up to us on what we can make.
Personally, the most fulfilling aspect of my work at Trillium is placing an employee at a position where they will be able to make a career and take are of their family.
The pros to working at Trillium Staffing is mainly the culture that is carried from leadership down to branch levels. It truly is a place of employment that cares about you as an individual rather than just a warm body doing a job. They want you to be successful and they are willing to help you be successful in your role. They are also very accommodating to ensuring that the balance is there for work and life.
There are no cons.
Trilliums benefit packages offered to employees is unmatched and truly a great asset to have from an employer. I have talked to others outside of Trillium and their benefits do not even compare.
They truly care about the success of you and are willing to help in anyway.
Through a difficult market, and economy, comes unpredicted, and unavoidable circumstances. I ask that leadership remember that even though numbers may be down, it does not reflect the hard work that goes into what those at a branch level do on a daily basis. Those same people that were rocking and rolling with high revenue when the market was up, are the same hard working individuals that are still giving it their all, even more so in a difficult market.
Researching who Trillium is and what we do differently than other staffing agencies. Trillium is not just a staffing agency, we truly want to be that partner at work. It takes a person with a "whatever it takes mentality" to thrive here, I would make sure I did my research to ensure I was good fit.
My base salary along with the bonus potential is comparable to the industry average.
it is fair.
Those who I work with.
Work/life balance.
No raises, base salary stays the same. We get to make more based-on commissions.
Flexibility, each day is different. Getting to help people find careers and building relationships with customers.
They are always available for anything.
I am not sure.
I had previous experience in the field and just went with it.
Helping candidates find full time careers they are happy with.
The culture is very diverse.
Based on industry standard, the base salary is lower than the national average
Opportunity for growth, consistent recognition of achievements, true investment in its employees
That I didn't start sooner!
My fave benefit is the competitive 401k plan.
He is involved in all divisions - has a true interest in his people as does the leadership of each division.
I prepared but learning about the company and its history... understanding long term goals and objectives.
My compensation is slightly higher than industry average.
I feel that Trillium is very diverse in terms of demographics. Inclusion is also so important and Trillium.
Team successes!!
Treat you like family and take care of you with great perks and benefits.
It's not an easy job.
Health benefits, food and fun
The best part about the leadership team is they are knowledgeable and at the same time let you do your own strategy.
I would improve the culture by keeping an open door policy at all times..
I prepared for the interview by being myself and proving that I would be a great asset to the company.
To honest, I do not know how it compares to the industry average.
Trillium has a wide range of diversity in the company nationwide.
The people bring me the most joy at work. Also, the gratitude for doing your job correctly.
Trillium Staffing offers great opportunities for honing your skills and growing with Trillium and in your career. Whether this involves on the job training, webinars, job shadowing, etc., management is always open to allowing staff to excel in their career.
In recent years, Trillium staff had the opportunity to work from home during COVID. As of last year, we moved back to be fully in office. While I do think having in office time with team members is important, it would be nice to have the option of 1-2 days a week working from home or moving to a 4 day work week to improve work/life balance. I have small children and this would be a huge perk/benefit.
Trillium offers fantastic health benefits and additional side perks such as Ticketsatwork which provides discounts on everything from travel, rental cars, hotels, attractions, etc. In addition, Trillium offers services for new mothers including postpartem care through menopause care.
The leadership team is very open to suggestions to improve efficiencies. Just in the last year, we have updated out ATS, texting platform and improve our CRM all because the leadership team worked together to ensure that we are providing the most efficient platforms possible.
At this time, I do not believe there is really anything that would need to be done to improve the company culture.
I've worked for Trillium for 12 years, and to be honest cannot remember much about preparing for my interview. I first started as an entry level Admin and have moved up into a leadership role over the years.
I am paid fairly in comparison to the industry average for the type of position I currently have.
I think Trillium employs those who are the best fit for a position regardless of race, ethnicity and any other demographic. Because of this, we pride ourselves on having a very inclusive culture.
I love working on something from start to finish. Whether this is a presentation, a report or marketing piece, I take great pride in what I put out for the organization to use.
Good benefits
Management issues, micro-management
401K Match, Health Insurance
Sends thank you cards and happy anniversary cards, as well as a christmas bonus
