JOB SUMMARY
As a Buyer, you will be responsible for supporting stakeholders' Capital Project spend and developing project sourcing strategies. You will maintain vendor relationships, negotiate the best value for POET, perform strategic analysis and decision-making, become highly knowledgeable and ensure appropriate risk management through thorough execution. This is a role that requires high levels of collaboration with internal stakeholders to drive successful strategies. The Buyer's role is to provide maximum value to POET through a combination of stakeholder support and strategic direction.
DURING A TYPICAL DAY
Foster relationships with strategic suppliers to create innovative and collaborative partnerships.
Maintain regular communication with key stakeholders to clarify priorities, provide updates, and set expectations.
Support strategies and processes to ensure on-time deliveries and project execution.
Lead, negotiate and administer contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives to drive best value.
Evaluate and monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and effectively manages nonconformities in a timely and professional manner.
Support multiple CapEx projects in tandem, at different points in their lifecycle.
Establish, support, maintain risk management strategies.
Research and evaluate supplier landscape based on capabilities, value proposition, and past performance; maintain a pipeline to new, potential suppliers
Review and analyze records of items purchased, costs, delivery, product performance, and inventories to drive continuous improvement.
Drive long-term strategies to generate supply chain improvements and efficiencies.
Resolve vendor or contractor issues, and claims against suppliers.
Monitor and initiate improvement projects to current processes or policies.
Collaborate with the bioprocessing facilities and EPC technical staff to ensure specifications and quality expectations continue to be met.
Partner with other procurement staff to ensure accurate and timely delivery with excellent customer service to our bioprocessing facilities and project management teams.

JOB SUMMARY
The Plant Technician is responsible for the operation of all plant processing equipment and performing routine basic maintenance in a highly automated chemical facility. In the area of maintenance, Plant Technicians are responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance, basic repair, and cleaning of all equipment associated with bioprocessing processes. At times, Plant Technicians may be asked to assist Maintenance Technicians in more technical and complex maintenance procedures. Team members in this position are required to maintain knowledge of the process flow, computerized equipment, and be aware of hazards associated with the process as well as understand and execute standard operating procedures (SOPs). Continuous plant operation requires 12-hour shift work. Plant Technicians must be able to adapt to 12-hour workdays and be able to meet call-in requirements as needed.
DURING A TYPICAL DAY
+ Use your knowledge to maintain and operate all processes associated with the plant where required.
+ Perform maintenance and basic repairs of plant equipment and document these activities.
+ Operate the DCS (Distributed Control System) for the plant.
+ Safely perform basic electrical troubleshooting.
+ Follow procedures for plant start-up, shut-down, cleaning, and batching.
+ Maintain accurate and timely logs.
+ Collect and test quality control samples, interpret QA/QC results and make adjustments to optimize plant operations, timely and accurately document results and enter results into our data collection system, PI.
+ Assist in removal, installation, rebuild, and performance of preventive and predictive maintenance on all equipment associated with plant processes.

JOB SUMMARY
The Custodian is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the property in such a way that it promotes health and safety at all times. It is the role of the Custodian to follow daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules which includes, but is not limited to, the biprocessing, scale house and administration building. + Sweep, wax and buff floors; vacuum and shampoo carpets and rugs and clean windows.
+ Dust furniture, walls, machines and equipment.
+ Clean and empty garbage and trash cans daily.
+ Assist with bioprocessing operations as requested.
+ Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies either manually or with moving equipment.
+ Maintain the bioprocessing facility grounds to include watering, mowing and trimming.
+ Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways and parking areas; spread snow melting chemicals.
+ Identify and communicate minor maintenance projects to appropriate management team member.
+ Perform touch-up painting when needed.
+ Maintain involvement with inventory control as needed.
+ Perform minor repairs; notify management team concerning the need for major repairs.
+ Foster a culture of safe behavior and environmental compliance at all times.

JOB SUMMARY
This position is new to our People & Culture team and is designed to deliver world-class people operations at POET! Operations
+ Build an operations function focused on efficient people transactions and outstanding customer service.
+ Manage key operations projects to ensure timely and effective delivery.
+ Own amendments to the Team Member Handbook and Total Rewards & Benefit Book. Propose verbiage, obtain approvals, track changes, and roll out changes to the team member base. Partnership across POET, including within the People & Culture team, is key.
+ Facilitate "Management of Change" best practices.
+ Create, monitor, and improve on key service delivery metrics.
Systems
+ Liaison between IT and People & Culture - help determine system priorities and coordinate system releases.
+ Lead master data governance for our HRIS system.
+ Reporting management - efficiently manage ad hoc and routine reporting requests.
+ Automate processes and implement improvements to POET processes and HRIS system. Continue to adapt to POET's growing and changing workforce.
Compliance
+ Keep current on all pertinent federal and state laws. Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Elevate emerging compliance changes and suggestions to the People & Culture Leadership Team for evaluation.

Job Description
A Senior Wastewater Operations Traveling Technician(SWOT) will be trained to operate and
maintain wastewater plants at several locations around the country. The purpose of the
position is to assist with new account startups, temporary operations, and to cover our existing facilities while local operators are out on PTO/sick time. The SWOT will be responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of the wastewater plants they visit, including process changes to meet compliance, troubleshooting processes & equipment, operational management, maintenance (routine, reactive, and preventive), process & compliance sampling, laboratory testing, and writing and distributing a daily shift report. In addition, the Senior Wastewater Operations Traveling Technicians will assist with the startup of new wastewater operating contracts until full-time local operators are hired The SWOT will be responsible for training the newly hired operator(s). The SWOT will communicate with the client and with Veolia's Account Manager regarding the operation during their time at the facility. The SWOT will be required to travel and be away from home for extended periods of time - this can range from 1-2 weeks at a time, all the way up to 1 or more months for certain projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Operate and maintain wastewater plants to comply with the requirements of the
* discharge permit, and each clients' expectations/requirements.
* Provide direction and support (as needed) to the operators on the other shifts, including
* the delegation of tasks based on the skills and abilities of the other operators.
* Conduct lab analysis of the waste streams at various points in the process to verify
* treatment and to make process changes.
* Communicate frequently with the Account Manager regarding the operation of the
* WWTP and request assistance as needed for the site.
* Coordinate your own travel plans to and from the assigned facility. Note: Veolia pays
* for all expenses associated with work-related travel (meals, lodging, transportation, etc.)
* Write or revise Standard Operating Procedures, as necessary.
* Analyze lab data to uncover potential treatment issues and then implement process
* changes to prevent non-compliance.
* Submit daily and/or weekly reports to client and Veolia management regarding the
* current status of the wastewater plant operations and needs of the operations team.
* Flexibility in schedule is very important. Most travel will be planned in advance, but
* there are occasions when emergencies arise. SWOT members will need to be willing

The Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Specialist is the leader of environmental, health, and safety programs at the POET bioprocessing facility. This role works with other members of the local leadership team and the EH&S members to ensure a culture that prioritizes environment, health, and safety. JOB SUMMARY
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient repair, preventative maintenance, and cleaning of all equipment associated with plant processes. Team members in this position will also perform maintenance tasks on all plant equipment. Maintenance Technicians are accountable for communicating any issues to the management team. Maintenance Technicians should be knowledgeable of process flow, computerized equipment and have an awareness of hazards associated with the process as well as display an understanding and ability to execute standard operating procedures (SOPs). As a team member grows in their skill and experience levels they are expected to become proficient in all maintenance functions at the Bioprocessing facility and be capable of training other team members in all areas. Continuous plant operation may require the Maintenance Technician to work 12-hour shifts and/or meet call-in requirements as needed.
DURING A TYPICAL DAY (IF THERE IS ONE) ...
+ Coordinate work functions with fellow team members and other departments within POET.
+ Maintain boiler and cooling tower systems including water testing and adjusting.
+ Maintain all plant equipment including, but not limited to: centrifuges (decanters and corn oil), pumps, motors, gearboxes, minor electrical systems, PLC's, heat exchangers, compressors, grain handling equipment, and fans or blowers.
+ Troubleshoot equipment issues
+ Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) functions on the equipment.
+ Operate, maintain, and clean the water filtration equipment.
+ Understand and as needed operate the DCS (Distributed Control System) for the plant.
+ Use Maximo to coordinate and order materials to complete projects and thoroughly document all maintenance tasks and spare part inventory.
+ Work with the management team to solve problems and fix unsafe conditions.
+ Use your knowledge of plant processes to understand how the equipment is utilized.

JOB SUMMARY
POET Plant Management provides operational oversight to the bioprocessing facilities and constantly strives for operational excellence by optimizing and making each of our facilities as efficient as possible.
