The Assistant TLC Leader's primary responsibility is to manage all aspects of the facilities operations. This position manages the inbound and outbound flow of products with a focus on safety and customer service.
The Assistant TLC Leader ensures that all assets are properly protected while the distribution center maintains a safe, clean working environment. This position ensures company assets are properly protected and that all corporate operational policies and procedures are adhered to.

Working Conditions
· Required to lift, pull, push, and/or move tires (up to 50 lbs. or greater with or without mechanical assistance following standard operating and safety procedures. Other physical requirements including, regularly being required to stand, walk, kneel, bend, crawl, climb and balance.
· Maybe required to handle hazardous materials and wear various forms of protective equipment (gloves, protective eyewear, etc.).
· Specific vision requirements may include close, distance, color, peripheral visions, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
· Works and operate equipment in various settings, ranging from non-climate-controlled warehouses to customer locations.
· Extended day, evening, and weekend work (including Saturday) may be required as job duties demand and may include little to no advanced notice.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Support and maintain the plant safety program through day-to-day safety contacts with employees and department safety meetings, ensure assigned work areas are safe and safety requirements are observed.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
Maintain continual observation of operation of all the various processes through recordings and indications of the control system, monitors and visual observation when necessary.
Supervise process and hourly employees and work closely with lab technicians.
Ensure that quality and environmental ISO standards are met.
Assure that a consistent, quality product is being produced through interaction with the quality control department and through the review of laboratory test results on clinker and cement.
Take corrective action as necessary and report and recommend solutions for production problem areas.
Assure the regular inspection and evaluation of all operating equipment to help maintain production requirements.
Use SAP system to issue work and material requisitions, hourly employee time entry and other required system information.
Work to keep costs related to work in line with the plant budget and be alert for ways to reduce costs of operations, maintenance and repairs.
Ensure good housekeeping is maintained in assigned work areas.
Will be required to work rotating shift.

Annual Base Salary for newly appointed CBPOs varies as follows:
GS-9: $61,111 - $124,443 per year
Note: A fully trained CBPO is eligible for up to $45,000 in overtime pay in addition to the starting salary.
Officers are eligible to select from an array of federal employment benefits that include health, dental and other insurance plans, generous annual and sick leave, and participation in the Thrift Savings Plan.
LOCATION INCENTIVES: If you accept one of the duty locations listed below, you may be eligible to receive an additional 15%-25% of your salary each year for the first three (3) years of employment in addition to any overtime pay. Some locations may offer 25% for four (4) years.

Qualifications:

Coordinate with EH&S, CAM, materials, engineering and quality support to achieve targets, improve flow and reduce waste.

Qualifications you must have:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
Some experience with metal forming, cutting and treatment processes
Some experience Operating CNCs, mills, lathes, ovens and other metal forming equipment
Qualifications we prefer:
Experience overseeing production, operations such as shop floor, workforce, and flow distribution management functions.
Ability to supervise work across multiple manufacturing functions.
Some Experience with welding techniques and quality standards for structural and precision components.

* Plan daily camp schedule and activities
* Shop for camp supplies, staying within supply budget provided by KE Camps
* Prepare activities in advance

* Check in with the KE Camps Office to update them on your camp and any issues you may be encountering
