I am a practicing Infectious Disease physician and technologist focused on healthcare innovation, particularly in Population Health and the transition to value-based care for all patients (Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and the Under/Uninsured).After seeing the benefit that both the health system and my patients at Providence received from Collective Medical’s approach to care coordination, I left my leadership role at Providence to become the Chief Medical Officer of Collective. As of December 2020, Collective joined PointClickCare, combining the largest acute and post-acute network to optimize senior and safety net care coordination.We are at a transformative moment in healthcare, with multiple potentially divergent macro- (i.e., ballooning health cost) and micro-pressures (i.e. the opioid epidemic) forcing a necessary but complicated transition in how medicine is practiced. My background of technology entrepreneurship, academic research, and clinical practice spanning multiple environments allows me a unique perspective and approach that I am now excited to bring to PointClickCare.
