Quality Manager Employee Type: Full-Time (1st Shift) The Quality Manager shall provide continual support to ensure Compliance for the AS9100 & AS13100 Quality Management System. The Quality Manager has the responsibility for assuring that the system is compliant with regulatory and customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, review, issue and control all Quality Management System Documentation.
• May Approve final release of the Traveler Package for manufacturing.

• Conduct internal audits for the overall maintenance of the Quality Management System.
• Provide training for the employees in order to achieve better quality levels
• Maintain training records and certificates of internal and external trainings provided for the employees
• Identify the training needs or requirements for inspectors and other employees.
• Control of employee stamps
• Provide information for Part Marking issues
• May Submit EQN's to the customer
• May Submit SRI's
• Supports Quality Clinic implementation
• Corrective Action Tracking, Closure, Preventive Actions implemented and verified
• Issuing of Quality Alerts
• Support of Quality Management Briefings
• Prime Interface for QA IT System Modules in Plex
• Supports all QA System Strategic Deployment Initiatives.
Skills / Qualifications:
• BS Degree in relevant fields with min. 10 yrs. of Quality related experience or equivalent including knowledge and requirements of AS9100 & AS13100 standards
•10+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing
• Must display excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills and have the ability to drive projects to completion.
• Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills appropriate for direct interaction with customers.
• Computer skills including using Microsoft office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams & SharePoint).

Job Title: Buyer & Receiving Coordinator The Buyer & Receiving Coordinator is a hybrid role responsible for procuring raw materials, goods, and services in support of production needs while also managing the physical flow of materials into the facility. Purchasing:

The Supplier Quality Engineer shall ensure that continuous improvement process is maintained.
Responsibilities:
• Prequalification of suppliers; ensuring capability evaluation criteria is met and complies with RM13007.
• Develop current and future Supply base
• Review supplier purchase order for quality requirements including but not limited to flow down requirements.
• Perform supplier risk assessments, reviewing and identifying suppliers’ manufacturing risks and improvements potentials.
• Perform process audits and identify gaps in the supplier’s processes and work with the supplier in closing the gaps and improving the manufacturing processes
• Facilitates supplier corrective action plans (example - 8D’s, control plans, FMEA’s, process flow diagrams, ) following documented procedures
• Lead or participate in the audit and assessment of Suppliers ensuring they are compliant with associated policies/procedures, AS9100, AS1300, supplemental requirements.
• Be responsible for developing suppliers using the appropriate quality tools (Process Capability, SPC, FMEA, Error Proofing, 8D and DoE)
• Conduct statistical analysis of supplier manufacturing processes.

Inspection Manager Employee Type: Full-Time (1st Shift) The Inspection Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the inspection department runs smoothly. Supporting operations and planning departments. Inspecting products with the highest standards and efficiency.
Polamer Precision is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented person with a strong understanding of inspection methods, experience in Aerospace Manufacturing.
Responsibilities
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate inspection activities, to include in-process, receiving and CMM Testing and programing, tool & gage control activities to achieve required schedules.
• Provide advance notice to management of any potential slippages or adverse trends.
• Audit inspection and calibration records to ensure accurate documentation is maintained for compliance with established procedures. • Advise and review procedures for customer compliance.
• Request or change inspection planning/documentation as necessary to ensure compliance with drawing and purchase order requirements.
• Generate non-conformances (NCR) and corrective actions (RCCA) as required for non-conforming product received.
• Work with and interpret blueprints, drawing, and Customer -Specs in accordance with Government and/or customer contract requirements.
• Provide leadership on quality issues, provide recommendations for improved contractual performance including gages, inspection methods, and specialized inspection equipment.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with and between functional groups/management to address problems and obtain resolution.
• Maintain properly trained staff to support inspection needs in accordance with company policy and federal/state regulations; evaluate skill needs and provide training, as needed.
• Control costs by scheduling appropriate use of manpower through the balancing of inspection needs with overtime requirements.
• Maintain high standard of performance expectations from employees through appropriate evaluations and training such that the assigned function demonstrates continuous improvement and compliance to standards.
• Conduct regular meetings to inform employees of general activities, company, and corporate related actions.
• Lead and/or participate in process improvement efforts.

Skills/Qualifications
• Min. 10 yrs. of Quality related experience or equivalent including knowledge and requirements of AS9100 standards.

CMM Programmer is a first shift position, based in our New Britain, CT facility. Quality Engineer Employee Type: Full-Time (1st Shift) The Quality Engineer will be providing all resources to meet statutory, regulatory and customer requirements. The Quality Engineer shall ensure that continuous improvement process is maintained.
Responsibilities:
• Develop inspection criteria for customer inspection requirements.
• Control and keep up to date customer documentation revision changes.
• Control and maintain External specifications to the latest revision levels. (material processes and specs)

NPI CMM Programmer Job Description:Polamer Precision is looking for an experienced CMM programmer to support our New Product Introduction (NPI) team. The NPI CMM programmer works with Manufacturing Engineers and CNC Programmers to validate and ensure dimensional conformance of product produced by the manufacturing process. Candidates must have strong GD&T and blueprint interpretation knowledge. Familiarity with specifications for conventional machining and drawing interpretation by Pratt and Whitney, General Electric and Rolls Royce is highly desired. Proficiency programming and running a CMM is required. In this position, time will be split between programming in an office environment and proving out programs in the inspection room. Candidates are required to have experience with Renishaw PH20 heads including calibration, and programming with OpenDMIS. Experience with Renishaw Revo scanning heads and programming within the software Modus is additionally desired. The NPI CMM programmer will work to achieve target inspection cycle times to ensure efficiency and part quality at each stage of the manufacturing process including final acceptance. This position reports to the head of the engineering department and focuses solely on new product as opposed to production support.Experience:

While performing duties for this job, it’s required to alternate between standing and sitting. Also perform walking, gross manipulation, visual acuity, climbing stairs, ladders, ramps, fine motor manipulation, lifting/carrying, pushing, and pulling.
Ability to move or transfer products with an overhead crane
Must be able to perform repetitive movements daily.
Required to always wear safety shoes and safety glasses when on the shop floor.
Possible risk of injury from equipment or sharp parts and may be required to use protective equipment such as gowns and safety goggles.
Assignment may require working on loud and potentially dangerous machinery/materials.
Required to use computer or touch screen to enter work order data.
Must be able to move and lift objects of up to 40 lbs.
May require local travel
