JOB SUMMARY:
Polaris Technical Service Representatives (TSRs) are tasked with delivering industry-leading case management and service experiences for Polaris dealers and customers through effective technical problem resolution. This role involves managing cases of varying complexity and type, assisting dealers with vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting, and evaluating warranty and goodwill coverage requests. This highly impactful position is dedicated to resolving technical vehicle issues and making business and financial decisions that enhance brand loyalty while providing world-class service. TSRs utilize problem analysis, technical proficiency, critical thinking, and clear communication to resolve vehicle cases.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide technical case support to dealership technicians. Vehicle case management will include diagnostics and goodwill coverage requests.
TSRs will be responsible for solving and closing cases in short periods of time through effective case management.
Manage diagnostic cases by following a comprehensive process: verify the complaint, identify related symptoms, analyze and isolate the issue, implement the fix, and test to ensure resolution.
TSRs will be responsible for warranty authorization cases, including but not limited to determining root cause, warranty eligibility, component coverage and labor accuracy.
Use experience, knowledge, and collaboration with internal teams to assist dealership technicians to promptly resolve diagnostic cases.
Leverage your understanding of customers and dealers, along with your technical expertise and customer-centric approach, to make financial and business decisions that boost brand loyalty. Provide exceptional customer service to both dealers and customers.
Conduct flat rate time studies and review warranty flat rate manuals.
Assist in the development, review and feedback for service manuals, videos, team tips, diagnostic processes, or technical training materials. TSRs will be used as an internal subject matter expert on vehicle diagnostics and service for assigned vehicle platforms or systems.
Support the Owner Connections team in enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty by offering technical explanations and coaching, evaluating customer-specific coverage, and ensuring clear communication between the dealer, customer, and Polaris.
Meticulously document dealer and customer interactions by taking detailed notes across all communication methods.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
Hard Skills:
Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred or other related technical major, or substantial equivalent technical experience in related work or field
A deep understanding of theory and function, as well as experience diagnosing the following: engine mechanical, engine runnability, fuel system, intake and exhaust, suspension, driveline, transmission, electrical, A/C, and other related systems as required.
Vast experience and knowledge of electrical theory, electrical component functions, and electrical diagnostics using multimeters and other diagnostic tools as required
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, SharePoint
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate thoughts, ideas and technical terminology
Efficient and accurate typing skills

WORKING CONDITIONS
Fast-paced office environment.
Hybrid work-schedule. Minimum 3 days in office on non-travel periods if based in the Winnipeg or Wyoming area.
Successful candidates will be capable and comfortable providing diagnostic support via phone and case support. Approximately 80% of your time will be spent providing support from your office.

The starting pay range for Minnesota is $26.44 to $35.10 per hour, plus eligibility for overtime. Summary
This position is responsible for the set-up and operation of CNC machines and tooling (e.g., tool changes and wear) in the assigned cell or production area. Responsible for machining parts and operating CNC machines while maintaining quality and safety standards. Machine Operator will work with various materials and parts from castings. Duties are performed under direct supervision. This individual must be dedicated to the success of Polaris and its quest to continually improve its operations. Perform duties to manufacture Polaris products, meeting OSHA and other compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
Operates CNC equipment and is responsible for the proper use of machines, tooling and inspection equipment.
Loads parts into machine and verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run and sample parts.
Maintains production rate in terms of cycle time, quantity and quality assigned to the job.
Changes cutting tools and adjusts machine feeds and speeds as needed.
Understands the manufacturing and machining processes and makes suggestions in how to improve these processes.
Uses various measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers and other inspection gauges.
Verifies fixture setup using all necessary inspection equipment under supervision.
Makes high quality parts to specifications and assists with the identification of root causes and corrective action for quality problems.
Understands and follows work orders and documents. Ensures all production process documentation is completed and accurate.
Performs in process inspection of machined parts and accurately completes the required paperwork such as the Inspection Process (IP) sheet.
Documents and communicates among shifts any actions taken (e.g., changes, concerns) on machine operations.
Is able to maintain a balanced workload by prioritizing and maintaining machine set-up, production and maintenance duties.
Completes secondary operations such as deburring, assembling and washing parts during the machine cycle time per the print and machining process.
Maintains work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows specified safety procedures at all times.

Lead cross-functional planning, execution and results reporting for utility consumer events (rodeos, hunt shows, etc.) and Off-Road dealer meetings. With support for other events as needed.
Contribute to the development of the overarching events strategy and ensure individual event plans align and ladder up to goals. Identify events that align with strategic objectives and make recommendations regarding which events we should attend and why.
Create comprehensive individual event plans for each assigned event. This includes but is not limited to overseeing sponsorship and contract deliverables, agency management, logistics, packing lists, layouts, activations, staffing, giveaways, sweepstakes creation, event promotion, on-site execution, dealer and partner involvement, etc.
Serve as day-to-day point of contact for event agencies and work with other vendors and third-party contractors to ensure seamless execution of events and production elements (including but not limited to event operations, printing and signage, and giveaways).
Partner with marketing teams to develop integrated communications (pre-, during and post-event) including social media, PR and promotional plans.
Collaborate with events team on staffing plans, Polaris' product training team to coordinate demo events and serve as on-site lead for key events.
Manage individual event budgets, ensuring accurate tracking and reconciliation of internal costs as well as external agency costs against determined budget.
Analyze event effectiveness and provide timely event recaps following each event with actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

The Selection Process:
Applications are open from August -November each year. Applications will be reviewed and shortlisted candidates will typically be contacted for an initial phone screen by the end of November. Intern Relocation Assistance:

Lead process design, definition, and documentation. Maintain comprehensive process maps, standards, and training materials.
Actively lead solution definition, root-cause analysis, problem solving, requirements gathering, validation, user acceptance testing, change management, and implementation.
Lead process improvement initiatives, leveraging LEAN methodologies, and project management frameworks.
Provide work direction to team members, which may include both direct and indirect reports.
2. Strategic Alignment & Governance
Align process objectives with long-range plans (LRP), capability & technology roadmaps, and organizational strategy.
Lead collaboration with governance boards and cross-functional teams to prioritize investments and manage process change.
Ensure clear roles and responsibilities (RACI), stakeholder engagement, and sponsorship for process initiatives.
3. Quality Assurance & Data Stewardship
Ensure data stewardship resulting in a trusted, single source of truth for product development data in the digital thread.
Define, monitor and control process adherence, ensuring compliance with internal standards.
Develop and track metrics / KPIs to create visibility into improvement opportunities and risks.
4. User Support & Change Leadership
Oversee production end-user support for your domain, ensuring quick and effective resolution of issues to ensure user efficiency.
Lead change management efforts, including communication, training, and adoption strategies.
Develop and maintain self-service resources and process documentation for global teams.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related technical field.
At least 5 years' experience in model-year based New Product Development, working directly with Engineering Bill of Materials
Minimum of 4 years of experience managing complex, cross-functional projects within the following functions: Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, or Supply Chain.
Experience leading the management of configurable Bill of Material (BOM) variant structure and rules, as well as change management (ECO/Deviation, etc), preferred.
At least 3 years' experience in Product Development business process ownership, optimization, and change management role, preferred.
Expert-level proficiency with PTC suite of applications (Creo, Windchill) and Microsoft Office applications, including SharePoint and PowerBI.
Proven ability to lead change, build strong relationships, and motivate at all levels within the organization and across functions within a matrix organization.
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and self-driven individual with ability to multi-task and perform in a very fast-paced environment.
Collaborative team player with strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred LEAN experience with the following: facilitating Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping, Stage/Gate Process and New Product Development Process.

The starting pay range for Minnesota is $113,000 to $149,000 per year. Individual salaries and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors, it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range.
