Experience Requirements: * Recent experience in one or more of the following areas: data analysis, performance analysis, or physics/mathematics-based algorithm development * General understanding of any, or all, of the following algorithm domains: track processing, track reporting, discrimination, propagation, and 6d covariance propagation/ prediction * High proficiency in technical problem solving and integrating solutions into a larger system * Knowledge of MATLAB, Python or similar engineering tools used in prototyping algorithms * Experience reading and understanding the Ada programming language * Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical personnel * Excellent interpersonal skills * Extensive background in Ballistic Missile Defense, midcourse missile defense, battle management, threat state processing, weapon target assignment * Ability to acquire and maintain a TS level clearance Special Skills Desired: * Recent experience applying advanced mathematical concepts (Numerical Analysis, Linear Algebra, Probability/Statistics) to complex problems and solutions * Recent and extensive experience developing analysis tools in MATLAB and PYTHON * High comfort level with the Ada programming language * Successful performance of root cause analysis of large complex software systems * High Comfort level using the Atlassian toolset (Jira/Confluence) Applicant selected must have an active Secret security clearance.
