Richard Hague is the Chief Commercial Officer at Anika Therapeutics, Inc. since October 26, 2015. Most recently, Richard served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, for TEI Medical, where he was responsible for driving revenue growth, building the sales and marketing teams and implementing strategies to drive national account and federal and private payer acceptance of the company’s technology platform. Richard previously was Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Commercial Operations at Sanofi Biosurgery, where he led the build out of the global sales and marketing team and oversaw all commercial activities in the U.S. for the company’s Cell Therapy and Regenerative Medicine business. Richard’s prior experience also includes leadership positions at Genzyme Biosurgery as Senior Director and Head of U.S. Sales and Northeast Regional Sales Director. Richard holds a B.S. degree in Marketing from the University of Connecticut.

Ned Swanson is a Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer at PolarityTE Inc and is based in Baltimore, Maryland. In the last few years, has obtained a jury verdict of patent infringement resulting in over $34 million in damages, a jury verdict of willful misappropriation of trade secrets with damages of over $900 million, and successfully defended a university against a patent licensee seeking expanded rights relating to its sponsored research and license agreements.

Regularly counsel business clients on a broad range of matters relating to the acquisition, protection, licensing, and enforcement of intellectual property rights. Litigated patent infringement cases involving a variety of technologies such as medical devices, pharmaceutical products, and telecommunications, as well as licensing disputes involving complex agreements such as sponsored research agreements, technology transfer agreements, and patent licenses. Broad experience in counseling all client contacts, including research scientists and inventors, on matters relating to intellectual property protection.
