Collect and integrate metadata into digital Smart Vault system across all estate clients in an effort to create stronger searchability and connections between assets. This includes transcribing metadata from media boxes, researching dates, locations, and setlists online, and notating conditions of the physical asset as well as the digital archive of the original source.
Work with members of the Assets & Archives team in achieving an entirely digital archive that ties directly to original source physical assets.
Inbound and catalog assets from new acquisitions into our archives system ensuring the accuracy of asset delivery from seller
Assist in any and all advancements in the physical vault including but not limited to organization techniques, searchability improvements and additional storage solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Typical assignments include:

Duties and Responsibilities

The salary for this position is determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). New hires start at 75% of the full rate, increasing to 100% after 24 months. DUTIES:

Ensures smooth transition to and from classes by enforcing rules;
Ensures compliance with district policy of “No Smoking” on district property and reports any noncompliance issues to administration;
Assists students with safe, orderly dismissal;
Ensures unauthorized personnel do not enter the building;
Coordinates peaceful and safe transportation from school to designated homes;
Debriefs with the team on the day's activities;
Ensures security for all extracurricular activities before and after school and on weekends;
Monitors school lobby and corridors;
Assists staff with disruptive students;
Monitors students in the cafeteria, parking lots, and supervise during dismissal;
Other duties as assigned.
APPOINTMENT:
Appointment will be made by the Board of Education upon the recommendation of the Superintendent following assessment of training, experience, certifications, credentials and evaluation of service. Personal interviews shall be conducted where appropriate.
SALARY:

Job Summary:
Public Safety Officers foster and maintain a safe and secure environment for its students, faculty, staff, and visitors across all St. John's University campuses and branch properties. Public Safety Officers report directly to Supervisors; they do not manage a staff.
Essential Functions:
* Responsible for responding to all calls for assistance which include crimes in progress, past crimes, vehicle accidents , personnel injuries, medical and aided cases, fires, smoke, burglar and duress alarms and render aid as required.
* Must render first aid, CPR and utilize Automated External Defibrillator.
* Operate a patrol vehicle in a safe and proficient manner in areas of high pedestrian traffic.
* Conduct field investigations concerning violations of law, violations of University policy and violations of the student code of conduct reported to them. Gather and compile information, and prepare reports.
* Engage with the various campus community departments checking on needs or security concerns.
* Patrol assigned posts or areas either on foot, bicycle, scooter, or in a motor patrol vehicle.
* Actively participate in crime prevention and community policing activities.
* Be mindful of current crime trends on and around the campus grounds and take appropriate action to deter such activity.
* Direct pedestrian and vehicle traffic and enforce campus parking regulations.
* Perform general security services, including locking and unlocking buildings, rooms, laboratories and roadway gates.
* Assist students who require escorts in and around the campus property due to injury or accessibility issues.
* Assist motorists who are having battery, tire or door lock problems.
* Perform campus access control in security kiosks (booth) by documenting vehicle license plates and issuing parking permits.
