In this role, you will work with the Embedded Clinical Research and Innovation Unit(ECRI) and will be an on-site and offsite coordinator of multi-site projects working with UCLA patients, clinic staff, and physicians to support research projects in clinical setting and studies managed remotely. You will support research implementation and provide project support. The duties will include but not limited to::
* describing research studies to interested participants and answering questions about the nature and involvement of the study
* obtaining informed consent from study participants or their respective family members
* collecting surveys for the study
* collecting file data from patient experiences as well as technical workflow of any device and technology installation.
You will handle smart watch devices for the study, and assist the study staff or infusion center staff as needed with study activities. Additionally you may be required to input study data into a database as well as make phone calls to collect additional study information if needed. You will also need to travel often to Rehab Centers located in Century City and Santa Monica, assisted living facilities.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or experience in social service related field.
+ Prior research experience or experience with patients in a clinical setting
+ Experience in working with a patient population in a healthcare setting is desirable. (preferred)
+ Demonstrate interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively and diplomatically with diverse group of physicians and patient population.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel
+ Must be able to get to the Rehabilitation Centers, off site
