Sweep/mop floors and clean drains. Assemble/disassemble dish machine. Sweep up trash around exterior of restaurant and garbage dumpster. Follow all safety procedures including proper lifting, knife handling, personal protective equipment, etc. Conduct general store and restroom cleaning as directed. Wipe up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry. Do not touch dirty dishes before touching clean dishes without washing hands first. Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately. Notify the Manager on duty any time dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures. Measure and assemble ingredients and prepare recipes and menu specifications in accordance to Polly's Pies recipes. Complete other various tasks including salad bar prep. Required to work varied hours; may be needed to work daily dinner rush, weekends and/or holidays. Fill in for different positions according to business needs when necessary.
