Key Duties and Responsibilities Ensure that all necessary materials needed to perform the position are accounted for. This includes, but is not limited to, clip board, production downtime sheet, schedule, paper towels, rubber gloves, writing implement. Help the Filler Operator monitor film rolls on both front and rear of machine. Notify operator when film is getting low. Be able to identify/verify you have the correct box for each product. During the shift, monitor the tape machine and printer to ensure both are working correctly. If not, notify the Filler Operator immediately. Keep the belt clean during shift. If machine is down, wipe off the belt. Notify Filler Operator of any quality defects. This includes, but is not limited to: oily, greasy, and leaking product. Misaligned film or lidding. Defective or wrong boxes, trays, and pads. Correct or rework any out of spec (but correctable) product or packages as instructed by your operator or supervisor. All paperwork must be legible; all down time must be accounted for on the downtime sheet. Keep work areas orderly and clean.
