Poly-America, L.P. is currently seeking a Process Engineer to join our Process Improvement Department. Poly-America produces several lines of polyethylene products including high quality trash bags, construction and agricultural films. Dedicated to providing the highest quality polyethylene products, our team of chemical, mechanical, electrical and process engineers is at the forefront of modern plastics technology. The company's innovative design team is responsible for several technological breakthroughs in blown-film extrusion and bag making. Responsibilities Process Engineers at Poly-America are responsible for monitoring, controlling, evaluating and improving blown film extrusion and converting. Ensure production lines are operating within established parameters. Determine main cause of process variation and drive corrective action. As directed by the plant manager, coordinate with corporate process engineering group to execute changes to process and procedures in order to reduce variability, reduce manufacturing costs, improve product quality, and improve operating efficiency. Provide leadership, technical support and training to operations and maintenance employees on established processes, implementation of new procedures and equipment upgrades, and analytical problem solving techniques. Monitor and maintain machine control records equipment condition to ensure high performance and run-time. Document, recommend, and implement process and procedural proposals based on a combination of data analysis and process reviews. Qualifications A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Process or industrial engineering experience is a plus. A strong desire to manage projects and processes from conceptualization to implementation. The ability to drive process solutions by working with leadership in the other relevant engineering, maintenance, and production groups. Statistical Process Control knowledge. Unloads and loads oil products from trucks, barges and rail cars. Straps tanks and updates strap reports. Utilizes all material handling equipment safely and efficiently, performs all required safety checks and communicates need for repairs or maintenance. Turns valves to admit measured quantities of liquid form tank container into other tank containers. Records measurements and calculates total and incremental tank capacities to prepare gauging tables. Measures product in tanks using liquid calibration methods. Uses basic math for Measurement, Tracking, and Reporting - Completes blend reports and other records. Ensures ISO related tasks and associated paperwork are complete. Fills out load in and load out reports. Maintains blend logs.

The Credit and Collections Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining the financial health of our manufacturing operations by managing customer credit risk and ensuring timely collection of receivables. This position oversees the credit approval process, monitors customer payment performance, and partners with Sales, Shipping, and Customer Service teams to resolve billing issues efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing billing cycles, freight terms, and customer account management. Key Responsibilities Accounts Receivable & Collections Manage assigned portfolio of distributor, OEM, and industrial customer accounts to ensure timely collection of payments. Monitor open invoices, unapplied cash, and short payments; follow up promptly on past due balances. Reconcile complex accounts involving multiple purchase orders, shipments, and freight adjustments. Contact customers via phone and email to resolve payment issues and negotiate payment plans where necessary. Record and apply customer payments accurately within the ERP system. Credit Management Review and assess new customer credit applications, trade references, and financial statements. Recommend credit limits and payment terms aligned with company policy and risk tolerance. Monitor existing customers' credit exposure and adjust limits as business conditions change. Place credit holds when appropriate and release orders once accounts are brought current. Dispute Resolution & Coordination Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Shipping departments to resolve invoice disputes, returns, or deductions related to pricing, freight, or product quality. Support prompt resolution of customer inquiries to minimize payment delays. Work closely with manufacturing operations to understand delivery schedules, ensuring accurate billing and credit releases. Reporting & Analysis Prepare and analyze monthly A/R aging and collections performance reports. Track metrics such as Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), past due percentage, and bad debt exposure. Assist with month-end closing, account reconciliations, and bad debt reserve calculations. Provide credit and collections forecasts as part of the cash flow management process. Qualifications Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). Experience: 2-5 years of credit and collections experience in a corporate environment. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). Mixes chemicals and cleans machines with sandpaper, solvent, and wiping rags to prepare surfaces for painting. Monitors paint operations to identify flaws such as blisters or streaks and corrects blemish as well as cause. Cleans work area and equipment. Disposes of all hazardous materials in an appropriate manner. Uses abrasives, solvents, brushes, blowtorches, washing tanks and sandblaster as needed Works autonomously and independently with minimal supervision. Maintenance employees are often required to operate equipment and provide support in seasonal outdoor areas or warehouses that may include the use of man lifts and ladders while performing duties at heights, and with hand tools in tight or closed spaces.
