Trim, inspect and pack containers or parts on line 1 Taking the 95-gallon trash cans in the production floor to the compactor to be emptied and bringing them back to the production floor once they have been emptied. Inspects and packs bottles on assigned lines, repack area or during rework activities. Monitor production for quality defects and promptly inform the operator and/or supervisor of any issues. Correctly apply tickets to finished packages. Read and understand the job discrete pick list. Ensure compliance on assigned line. Fill in required data on exception reports and any pack/inspection sheets as required. Start, stop, reset and clear jams on auxiliary equipment such as bottle conveyors, sleeve labeler, box maker, labeler, flame treater, leak tester, etc. Complete assigned housekeeping duties in areas of responsibility. Complete employee safety observation forms and report hazards as necessary. Participate in monthly safety and/or quality meetings. Adhere to Silgan safety policies. Empty reject bins and grind scrap as necessary. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor. The primary role of the Production Utility Specialist is to act as a production floater between departments (based on business needs). Primary job responsibilities will fall within the Receiving and Inventory function, but employees may also perform Shipping, Gearbox Assembly Support and general labor functions associated with facility expansions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assist with duties related to production, production expansion and interdepartmental production flow. * Assist with general shipping duties including the receiving of material and freight, cycle counting, part inspections, material replenishing, pulling and putting away material and other inventory needs to support the production of gearbox assembly and the plant. * Receive shipments & assist in distribution of material and parts to the proper location in the warehouse. * Assist in the unloading of incoming parts and product placement within Inventory. * Assist in the pulling of parts from inventory in preparation of gearbox assembly. * Other various shop-floater duties that revolve around production expansion or production fulfillment. Gate Attendants work a yearly set schedule of 4 days on and 4 days off with 12 hour shifts. The days of the week worked will rotate from week to week. Responsibilities Process Engineers at Poly-America are responsible for monitoring, controlling, evaluating and improving blown film extrusion and converting. Ensure production lines are operating within established parameters. Determine main cause of process variation and drive corrective action. As directed by the plant manager, coordinate with corporate process engineering group to execute changes to process and procedures in order to reduce variability, reduce manufacturing costs, improve product quality, and improve operating efficiency. Provide leadership, technical support and training to operations and maintenance employees on established processes, implementation of new procedures and equipment upgrades, and analytical problem solving techniques. Monitor and maintain machine control records equipment condition to ensure high performance and run-time. Document, recommend, and implement process and procedural proposals based on a combination of data analysis and process reviews. Qualifications A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Process or industrial engineering experience is a plus. A strong desire to manage projects and processes from conceptualization to implementation. Yard Mule Driver Responsibilities: Utilizes heavy equipment and performs a variety of physical and labor-intensive tasks to move cargo and trailers around plant property. Safely operates a Yard Mule Truck and assists with the loading of freight. Transfers, loads, and unloads bulk liquid products. Prepares reports and maintains accurate records and logbooks in accordance with Federal and State regulations/standards and company policies. Yard Mule Driver Routinely: Operates a Yard Mule truck to transport cargo to secure areas for transport. Performs pre-shift mechanical inspection of assigned company truck (Yard Mule), truck cargo, equipment and supplies, such as fire extinguisher, tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water. And promptly reports any deficiencies or repair needs to the Logistics Manager or Maintenance department. Couples and uncouples trailers by changing trailer jack positions, connecting or disconnecting air and electrical lines. Maneuvers trucks into loading or unloading positions and verifies that the vehicle and loading equipment are positioned properly and secured safely. Maintains truck logs of loads according to state and federal regulations and prepares and submits completed daily shift activity reports. Completes and maintains daily paperwork and records such as manifests and records of deliveries for invoicing. Confirms hazardous materials are properly handled and placarded safely and efficiently, before hauling according to federal, state, and all other regulatory agencies guidelines and requirements and performs all required safety checks and communicates need for repairs or maintenance. Maintains a clean work area that is free of debris or safety hazards. Positions blocks and ties ropes around items to secure cargo for transit. Transfers loaded and unloaded liquid products trailers, which requires lifting and connecting hoses and fittings. Poly-America, L.P. is currently seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join our Shipping/Receiving department. Poly-America produces several lines of polyethylene products including high quality trash bags, construction films, and geomembrane liners. Poly-America is also the most technologically advanced and largest recycler and compounder of polyethylene in the world. Responsibilities The candidate for this job will be responsible for processing orders and all associated documents, transfer orders, staging of material, return of material and performing cycle counts in a timely manner to ensure timely and accurate accounting of materials. Receives, unpacks, and delivers goods. Processes and documents returns as required following established procedures. If necessary, adjust the errors in the system. This position will require the employee to drive their bike or forklift from building to building. Due to this the employee will be exposed to the outside weather conditions. Shipping and receiving experience is preferred, but willing to make an exception for the right individual. The successful candidate must possess good communication skills. Needs to accurately monitor, and store inventory and resolve discrepancies in inventories using provided resources. Computer literate and able to quickly learn required software. The Additive and Oil Tank Strapper is responsible for accurately measuring, monitoring, and documenting product levels in storage tanks containing crude oil, refined products, and chemical additives. This role ensures compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company operating procedures while supporting efficient terminal, pipeline, or refinery operations. Key Responsibilities Tank Strapping & Measurement Perform manual and automated gauging of oil and additive tanks to determine product levels, temperature, and volume. Calculate tank volumes using strapping charts, correction factors, and standard measurement practices. Verify product quality by collecting samples for laboratory analysis when required. Document all measurements accurately in logs, digital systems, or required regulatory forms. Other duties as assigned Safety & Compliance Follow all OSHA, EPA, and company safety protocols, including PPE requirements and hazardous materials handling. Participate in safety meetings, emergency drills, and required training. Report any spills, equipment malfunctions, or unsafe conditions immediately. Equipment Operation & Maintenance Operate valves, pumps, meters, and related terminal or refinery equipment. Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on measurement tools and additive systems. Coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs or calibration needs. Communication & Coordination Work closely with operations, logistics, and quality control teams to support product movement and scheduling. Communicate tank status, inventory changes, and operational issues clearly and promptly. Assist with shift handovers by providing accurate and detailed updates. Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in oil & gas, terminal operations, pipeline operations, or related industrial work. Ability to read and interpret tank charts, gauges, and measurement tools. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. Preferred Knowledge of API measurement standards (API MPMS). Experience with additive injection systems or blending operations. Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Physical Requirements Ability to climb tanks, stairs, and ladders.
