As demand grows for our award-winning outdoor furniture made from recycled plastics, our peak season continues to expand. That's why we're welcoming up to 40 Customer Experience Specialists to support customers who love our products as much as we do.
About the Role
At POLYWOOD , our Customer Experience team does more than answer questions. They build trust, solve real problems, and create meaningful moments for customers who love our brand. As we prepare for interviews in early January with start dates at the end of the month, we're excited to welcome new team members who thrive on connection, clarity, and service that feels human.
This role is part of our Interval Flexpath program, offering full-time hours during peak season and built-in time off during the off-season, making it a perfect blend of stability, balance, and meaningful work.

Analyze equipment failures to identify root causes and implement long-term corrective actions
Complete preventive and predictive maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime
Troubleshoot and repair CNC machinery, heating elements, motors, temperature controllers, and pneumatic systems
Read, interpret, and apply electrical schematics, control drawings, and technical documentation
Perform limited mechanical repairs including belts, pulleys, bearings, and gear-driven components as needed to support operations

POLYWOOD is looking for team members to join our Extrusion Department, where we create the HDPE lumber that fuels our entire production process. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands on work, values precision, and wants to grow technical skills while contributing to a safe, supportive, and high performing manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
Operate and monitor extrusion equipment, including a 14-foot screw that melts HDPE plastic pellets, color chips, recycled plastic pellets, and regrind at 350 degrees.
Ensure proper pressurization of the melted material into the die to achieve the required shape and size.
Manage the cooling process by guiding the extruded lumber through 100 feet of water.
Oversee automatic saw operation to cut lumber to the correct length.
Inspect and stack lumber on wood skids for transport to production.
Maintain accurate production records by counting, weighing, and logging units of lumber and scrap on daily production sheets.
Attach identifying tags or labels to materials or mark relevant information on containers.
Build and repair skids to ensure proper storage and transport.
Operate industrial trucks to assist with loading and moving materials and products.
Perform routine maintenance and keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris.
Replace fuel containers in power lift trucks as needed.
Complete end-of-shift duties and ensure readiness for the next production cycle.

Position Summary
At POLYWOOD, we're redefining what it means to build sustainably-crafting beautiful, durable outdoor products using recycled materials and innovative manufacturing processes. As a Metal Fabrication CAD/CAM Engineer, you'll play a vital role in shaping the metal components that form the backbone of our premium furniture. From intricate brackets to precision weldments, your work will ensure every metal part is designed, programmed, and fabricated with excellence.
In this role, you will use your expertise in SolidWorks and Mastercam to create and optimize 3D CAD models, generate accurate CAM programs, and write CNC code that drives our cutting-edge metal fabrication equipment. You'll collaborate closely with production, welding, and assembly teams to troubleshoot challenges, validate programs through hands-on trial runs, and continuously refine processes for efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities:
Develop and modify 3D CAD models for metal components, parts, and assemblies using Solidworks or similar software.
Generate CAM programs specifically for metal fabrication processes (e.g., cutting, bending, welding, and machining) utilizing Mastercam or equivalent software.
Create, modify, and maintain CNC programs for metalworking equipment (lasers, press brakes, machining centers) with a focus on precision and efficiency.
Conduct trial runs and test pieces on CNC machines to validate programming and ensure adherence to metal fabrication specifications and tolerances.
Prepare accurate and detailed fabrication drawings and production documentation, including weld symbols, material specifications, and finishing details.
Collaborate with Production teams to implement Engineering Change Requests, aiming to streamline metal fabrication workflows, improve part quality, and reduce manufacturing costs.
Work closely with Fabrication, Welding, and Assembly teams to troubleshoot issues related to CNC programming, fixturing, material handling, and tooling.
Provide on-the-floor technical support, training, and education to production personnel related to metal fabrication processes and equipment setups.
Ensure all designs and processes comply with safety standards, manufacturing best practices, and quality control procedures specific to metalworking.
Requirements:
3-5 years of hands-on experience programming and setting up CNC machines for metal fabrication (laser cutting, CNC punching, machining, etc.).
Proficient in creating CAM programs using Mastercam or similar for metal-specific applications.
Advanced proficiency in Solidworks (or equivalent CAD software) for designing metal parts and assemblies.
Strong understanding of sheet metal design principles, including bend allowances, welding processes, and material properties.
Skilled in reading and creating blueprints with a focus on dimensioning, geometric tolerancing (GD&T), and fabrication details.
Strong mechanical aptitude, with the ability to visualize 2D layouts in 3D space to anticipate potential collision points or fabrication challenges.
Proficient with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges) and advanced math skills for precise fabrication.
Experience interpreting and creating engineering documentation for metal fabrication, and writing clear machine-level instructions with minimal supervision.
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate professionally with engineering, production, and quality teams.
Highly self-motivated with excellent attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Bonus points if:
Experience operating and programming Haas, Fanuc, or similar CNC equipment for metal fabrication.
Experience operating and programming laser cutters, press brakes, or automated welding systems.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles applied to metal fabrication.

HELP BUILD PRODUCTS THAT ARE STRONG, SUSTAINABLE, AND BUILT TO LAST.
POLYWOOD is looking for team members to join our Extrusion Department, where we create the HDPE lumber that fuels our entire production process. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands on work, values precision, and wants to grow technical skills while contributing to a safe, supportive, and high performing manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do:
• Operate and monitor extrusion equipment, including a 14 foot screw that melts HDPE plastic pellets, color chips, regrind, and recycled materials at 350 degrees
• Ensure proper pressurization of melted material into dies to achieve accurate shape and size
• Guide extruded lumber through 100 feet of water to complete the cooling process
• Oversee automated saw operations to cut lumber to correct lengths
• Inspect and stack materials on wood skids for transportation into production
• Record daily output by weighing, counting, and logging lumber and scrap
• Attach identifying tags or labels to materials and maintain proper documentation
• Build and repair skids to support safe storage and movement of materials
• Operate industrial trucks to load, transport, and organize materials
• Perform routine equipment checks and keep work areas clean and organized
• Replace fuel containers in power lift trucks as needed
• Complete end of shift tasks and prepare the area for the next production cycle

POLYWOOD is looking for Shipping Team Members who enjoy hands-on work, staying active, and being part of a dependable, team-focused environment. This role is perfect for individuals who take pride in accuracy, value safety, and want to contribute to getting high-quality outdoor furniture into customers' hands.
You will play an important role in the final stage of our production process, ensuring our products are prepared, handled, and shipped with care.
What You'll Do:
Handle, load, and unload finished POLYWOOD products accurately and efficiently
Stay on your feet and actively moving for 10 or more hours per shift
Lift, move, and position items weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the day
Perform picking tasks by locating and retrieving items to fulfill customer orders
Verify shipment accuracy by reviewing orders and inspecting products
Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment if certified
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area by following all safety procedures

POLYWOOD is looking for a hands-on Metal Fabrication CAD/CAM Engineer to support the design, programming, and fabrication of the metal components used across our premium outdoor furniture line. This role blends CAD, CAM, CNC programming, and on-floor problem solving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do:
• Create and update 3D CAD models for metal parts and assemblies.
• Generate CAM programs and CNC code for laser cutting, bending, machining, and welding operations.
• Run trial pieces to validate programs and ensure accuracy and safety.
• Prepare fabrication drawings with weld symbols, material specs, and tolerances.
• Support Engineering Change Requests and drive improvements in manufacturability and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot tooling, fixturing, and programming issues with Fabrication and Welding teams.
• Train and support production team members on setups and equipment expectations.

What You Bring:
• 3 to 5 years of experience programming and setting up CNC equipment for metal fabrication.
• Proficiency with Mastercam or similar CAM software.
• Strong skills in SolidWorks or comparable CAD tools.
• Knowledge of sheet metal design, weld processes, bend allowances, and GD&T.
• Ability to read, create, and interpret fabrication drawings.
• Hands-on experience with measuring tools and fabrication math.
• Clear communication skills, attention to detail, and strong organization.

You will play an important role in the final stage of our production process, ensuring our products are prepared, handled, and shipped with care.
What You'll Do:
Handle, load, and unload finished POLYWOOD products accurately and efficiently
Stay on your feet and actively moving for 10 or more hours per shift
Lift, move, and position items weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the day
Perform picking tasks by locating and retrieving items to fulfill customer orders
Verify shipment accuracy by reviewing orders and inspecting products
Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment if certified
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area by following all safety procedures
