Founded over 120 years ago, Pontifical College Josephinum is a Catholic
seminary with a global focus. Its students come from dioceses throughout
the world, and PCJ graduates serve the Church in more than 20 foreign
countries. Pontifical College Josephinum's academics include both undergraduate and
graduate degrees, administered through two schools. The College of
Liberal Arts offers bachelor's degrees in Philosophy and Humanities. The
School of Theology offers the Bachelor of Sacred Theology and Master of
Divinity degree programs. In addition to these programs, the Josephinum also provides a
pre-theology academic program to prepare students for the School of
Theology. This program, which results in a Bachelor of Philosophy, is
intended for students who have already earned a bachelor's degree. Student life at the Josephinum fosters human, spiritual and pastoral
formation. Prayer is the foundation of campus living, but the average day
also consists of coursework, exercise and time for personal reflection. PCJ offers several financial aid opportunities, including need-based
federal and state aid. The school also funds several scholarships, many
