Under general supervision, Administrative Support Coordinator II's independently coordinate the entire clerical and administrative support functions and/or performance of secretarial and administrative work in a large/complex academic, administrative or program office, and/or in a higher-level administrative office. Administrative work often involves evaluation and recommendations related to operational and procedural matters. The incumbent will be responsible for the following job duties:
Incumbents may plan and execute large scale, complex projects with broad, visible impact that involve coordination with other departments.
Incumbents identify project needs, outline detailed plans, initiate, and coordinate projects and delegate work.
Incumbents coordinate projects through initiation, execution, implementation, and evaluation.
Incumbents set priorities for support staff and are fully accountable for workflow and completion of work for the assigned support staff.
Incumbents lead work direction, training, and guidance to others; assist with work unit staffing decisions and input for performance evaluations.
Incumbents will interact with highest levels within and outside the university, often in sensitive interpersonal situations.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Required Education and Experience
High School diploma or its equivalent AND five years of progressively responsible experience in general office clerical or secretarial work or the equivalent.

A thorough mastery of English, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

Must have the ability to work cooperatively with a diverse campus community of people.

The Role
The student internship program is a hybrid (in-person and work-from-home) learning and mentorship experience at J/PR. Duties and Responsibilities:
Public Relations

The Sales Center Manager exercises complete responsibility for developing and managing a business operation that increases sales, profitability, market share, and customer and employee satisfaction by directing, coordinating and monitoring all sales, branch operation and personnel developments activities.

What You Will Need:

The Zone Manager exercises complete responsibility for developing and managing two business operations that increases sales, profitability, market share, and customer and employee satisfaction.

Under direct supervision, Administrative Support Assistants I's provide clerical support to administrative units and/or Academic Departments. Incumbents may perform reception duties, including filing of documents, answering telephones, typing forms, letters and memos, and performing other clerical duties as assigned. Typical duties include the following:
Incumbents will set own priorities regularly and manage multiple work priorities. Incumbents may help set priorities for others but are primarily accountable for own work results.
Incumbents will plan and coordinate clerical work activities and provide lead work direction and/or training and assistance to others in work processes and procedures.
Incumbents may perform assignments that are varied involving the regular use of judgment and discretion.
Incumbents may take courses of action, which are guided by some interpretation of policies and procedures.
Incumbents may develop creative solutions to a variety of problems addressed.
Incumbents may perform reception duties, including filing of documents, answering telephones, typing forms, letters, and memos, and performing other clerical duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Required Education and Experience
High School diploma or its equivalent AND one year of experience in general office clerical work or one year of training in a vocational school/college.

If typing/keystroke skills are required, a keystroke speed of 50 C.W.P.M. is necessary.
General knowledge of office methods, procedures and practices, and a working knowledge of correct English, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

Compensation:
Classification: Administrative Support Assistant I
Compensation: The salary range for this classification is $3,680.00 to $ 4,517.00/month.
The hourly range for this classification is $21.23 to $26.06.
