On a daily basis you will participate in all aspects of the bid/estimating process from review of plans and specs to soliciting and negotiating prices from subcontractors/ suppliers through completion of bid/estimating efforts including closeout. You will also perform quantity take-offs, pricing, scoping, and bidding of construction projects
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
Bidding
Performing Job walks with client and subcontractor(s)
Conducting new job and RFP Interviews
Managing the assembly and review of RFP's
Managing and leveling bids
Bid qualifying and proposal assembly
Preconstruction, building connected & plan review
Meeting deadlines and working on project schedules
Working with PM Teams for estimating support
Providing accurate and competitive pricing
Relationship Management

Maintain client relations through attendance of events
Engagement with teams, contractors, and subcontractors
Exhibits high level of influence and commitment with customers
Project Handoffs

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering or 2-5 years of equivalent estimating experience
General knowledge of construction principles and processes
Ability to read and interpret drawing and specifications
General knowledge of negotiated bids, hard bids and GMP processes
Attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Dedicated to task completion
COMPENSATION:
Base salary depends on experience. Range $100,000-$125,000/ yr
This is a full-time salary position; the compensation package will include both a health benefits and a retirement plan

POSITION SUMMARY:

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred)
Experience: Minimum 10 years of estimating experience in heavy civil earthwork and infrastructure projects
Strong knowledge of mass grading, haul planning, cut/fill balancing, and soil classification
Proficient in reading and interpreting civil and structural drawings, specifications, and geotechnical reports

About the Role:
As part of our continued expansion, we're hiring a Construction Cost Estimator to drive cost modeling and financial accuracy across our capital projects. This role plays a critical function in delivering predictable outcomes by pairing detailed cost estimation with proactive cash flow forecasting to support Crusoe's global growth.
What You'll Be Working On:
Lead end-to-end estimating efforts for data center builds-from early-stage planning through construction execution
Develop robust cost models that align with design intent, scope evolution, and delivery strategies Collaborate with design, procurement, and delivery teams to validate quantity take-offs and unit pricing
Build and maintain project cash flow forecasts to support financial planning, budget tracking, and funding requests
Provide detailed estimates for CSA, MEP, and mission-critical systems for domestic and international builds
Evaluate vendor and subcontractor proposals against internal benchmarks and historical data
Analyze variances and model cost impacts due to design changes, procurement risks, or schedule shifts
Partner with finance, real estate, and development teams to inform business cases and funding strategy

What You'll Bring to the Team:
