Ultrasound Technologist

Your tasks and responsibilities as a Sonographer include but are not limited to:
Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe, competent manner
Perform sonogram examinations in accordance accurately and in a timely manner
Responsible for imagining, recording and processing ultrasound images
Obtain and document complete patient history as it relates to the procedure ordered and informed consent
Maintain statistical results for quality improvement
Qualifications
A two-year Allied Health degree or successful program completion at a 12-month CAAHEP approved School of Ultrasound Technology
ARDMS registry: RVT, AB or OB/GYN specialty(ies)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
One (1) to three (3) years experience as an Ultrasound Technologist (or Sonographer)
Organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling, computer (MEDITECH), and clerical skills
Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions

Our services include Psychiatric/Psychological Evaluations, Medication Management, Psychotherapy & Counseling, and Neuropsychological Testing Services. Our team of mental health professionals includes psychiatrists, clinical psychologists/neuropsychologists, board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioners, certified physician assistants, and licensed therapists. Qualifications
Candidate must have a master's degree in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage & family therapy
Candidate must have an active Florida Intern license

Job Responsibilities
This position includes direct patient care and office administrative responsibilities.
Provide different modalities of psychotherapy and counseling services.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families about mental health conditions and therapeutic strategies.
Provide documentation of the services rendered in compliance with the company policies and procedures.
Stay current with advancements in psychotherapy and counseling through continuing education and professional development.
Greet patients, check them in/out, and direct them to appropriate departments or waiting areas
Accepting in-bound calls and making outbound calls to the patients
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of office spaces and waiting areas
Monitor and replenish office supplies and medical forms, coordinate maintenance and repair of office equipment
Assist in communicating appointment reminders, test results, and other pertinent information to patients
Adhere to clinic policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA) in all administrative activities
