FiberTel is looking for a Vac Truck Operator for our Springville, UT location.
The Vac Truck Operator will be responsible for the safe transportation of the vac truck to and from the sites. The Operator will also operate the machine in a safe and skillful manner. Job Summary:
As a Vacuum Truck Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of vacuum trucks to assist with excavation projects, including the removal of liquids, slurries, and debris. The Merchandise Handler is responsible for handling full cases of product (that can weigh up to 50 lbs., 22.7 kg.), lifting cartons and merchandise onto and off conveyor lines, pallets or other storage containers. You will operate power equipment more than half of your working hours. High Lift Operators are also responsible for handling full cases of product, including consistent lifting of cartons and merchandise on/off conveyor lines, pallets and other storage containers. You will maintain and verify documentation and information to facilitate flow of merchandise through the distribution center. For this role, you must successfully complete Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) classroom training and pass a written test for all PIV equipment that you would operate. Additionally, you must complete and pass a PIV driver training course with verbal commands lasting up to two weeks taught in English.
The Merchandise Processor is responsible for processing various types of merchandise (that can weigh up to 25 lbs., 11.3 kg) for the Distribution Centers by using standard procedures for our brand. Within this role, you will be picking, packing or storing merchandise according to procedures, while using a radio frequency (RF) scanner, and ensuring the quality expectations of the business. It requires steady, fast-paced work and focuses on the accurate picking/packing of many items.
The Outbound Loader is responsible for consistent loading of outbound merchandise, promotional store sets, and store supplies into semi-trailers. You will lift, stack, and load merchandise cartons onto and off conveyor lines, semi-trailers, pallets, etc. This role loads cartons of 30 lbs.,13.6 kg. to 75 lbs, 34 kg. 100% of working hours. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Operating excavators with precision to dig on grade around existing utilities and in a trench box.
Collaborating with your pipe layer, foreman, and superintendents to ensure safe execution and project completion per the plans.
Operating Excavators to load on and off-road dump trucks efficiently
Ability to operate multiple different types of machinery proficiently with proven experience.
Reading and understanding site plans, specs, and cut sheets.
Follow project specifications and supervisor instructions to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
Adhere to all OSHA and Layton Services' safety regulations.
Exhibit a responsible, safety-first attitude at all times.

Qualifications and Skills:
3+ years of industry experience
2+ years of excavating to install mainline utilities
Strong knowledge of excavation, grading, trenching, and material handling techniques
Ability to read and follow project plans, site maps, and supervisor directions
Understanding of OSHA workplace safety regulations and best practices
OSHA 10-Hour; OSHA Trenching and Excavating (can be obtained once hired)

Duties and Responsibilites
The Extrusion Associate is responsible for the fabrication and production of the component parts for the final assembly of windows. Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands. This job description is reflective of tasks that will be performed in a variety of departments.
* Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units
* May support the window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows
* Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers
* Understand and carry out verbal instructions
* Read and carry out simple written instructions
* Read work orders, labels, and schedules
* Use a tape measure (will be asked to read measurements during the interview), inspect, examine, and observe for product defects
* Make fraction and decimal conversions
* Operate any equipment needed to perform a job
* Perform other duties as assigned
* Provide on-the-job training to new employees
Qualifications
* Must be at least 18 years of age to apply

* Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
* Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions
* Ability to stand for extended periods
