Lutheran Social Services of WI and Upper MI is currently recruiting for Adult Residential Support Professionals for a new addictions recovery program in Oconomowoc, WI. LSS Recovery Center Oconomowoc provides up to 30 beds for adult women in need of Medically Monitored Treatment and Transitional Residential Treatment. Services are gender specific and trauma informed. The facility does allow for infants up to age 3 months to reside with their mothers who are receiving SUD treatment services.
As as Support Professional, your role is to help these ladies stay clean and sober, adhere to the requirements of the program, pass medication, provide meals, complete household chores, etc. This is a part-time, weekend only position, 10 hr days and a one hour staff meeting during the week. The role offers pay at $17.75/hr.

Supports, interacts with, and monitors residents within established policies and procedures, providing positive role modeling

Provides medication monitoring or medication administration as outlined in specific program policies
Provides information concerning status of clients to external partners within established guidelines. Is mindful of confidentiality requirements specific to the program
Identifies emergencies or crisis situations and responds appropriately
Maintains awareness of clinical treatment plan and supports residents in achieving goals
Ability to work independently and problem solve efficiently
Attends staff meetings and participates in training activities as required
Maintains confidential client information and records
May assist with meal preparation and other life skills for residents
May assist with grocery shopping for the facility
May transport residents to meetings, services, appointments and other activities
May be responsible for collecting urine specimens for urinalysis and administering breathalyzer tests

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Possess standard reading, writing, math skills, problem solving capability, and the ability to accept/follow through with direction and both recognize and adhere to professional boundaries. The ability to provide services and function as a team member with patience, self-control and flexibility is essential.

This Manager of Accounting will lead a team of project accountants focused on Low-Income Housing Tax Credit and Housing (LIHTC) and Housing and Urban Development (HUD) projects. Project Accounting roles support a specialized area of accounting focused on the financial management of rental properties, including recording income, expenses, rent collection, preparing financial reports and leading audits with the goal to provide excellent customer service to all those needing financial data to make decisions within the organization.

Leadership Responsibilities

This Manager is a working leader and will have project accounting work assigned to them to include:
Accounting:
Meticulously recording all rental income for the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) properties, as well as expenses related to property maintenance, utilities, repairs, taxes, and other operational costs.
Record monthly accruals as needed for each project, as well as proper recording of prepaid expenses.
Manage the balance sheet including proper adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) accounting and oversight of cash.
Complete and/or review monthly account reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts.
Manage banking transactions including positive pay and transfers between restricted and unrestricted cash accounts.
Maintain proper record of approvals and tracking over allowance for doubtful accounts for tenant past due balances
Record construction draws for new project development, if applicable.
Communicate/collaborate with investors and other external parties regarding project goals or concerns.
Collaborate with operations team/property managers to resolve issues in tenant subledgers.
Prepare and record monthly intercompany billing for project payroll expense and other reimbursements and fees.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Participate in the budgeting process for each property.
Forecasting future cash flow, including income and expenses.
Making recommendations to help support profitability.
Financial Reporting:
Generating financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide property owners and stakeholders with a clear picture of the property's financial performance.
Complete income statement fluctuation analysis on a monthly basis for each project.
Compliance:
Review entity legal documents such as Operating/Management Agreements to ensure proper adherence to agreements and to set up accounting practices for newly established projects.
Leading HUD and LIHTC audits for assigned properties. Complete real estate assessment center (REAC) annual reporting for HUD projects.
Completion of Return of Organization Exempt from Income Tax 990 tax reporting, if applicable.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

To maintain custody of county charges and prisoners during examinations, hearings, hospital intensive security directed missions, trials, or during conveyance to State or County institutions.

Working Conditions
Physical Demands: Continuous utilization of fine dexterity function, manual dexterity function, and upper extremity repetitive motion function. This position requires qualifying with a service weapon on a regular basis and successful completion of Law Enforcement Training Courses. Individuals offered employment must pass a pre-employment drug test, medical examination and physical agility test as a condition of employment.
Demands/Deadlines: High volume and variable work demands, and deadlines impose strain on a routine basis or considerable stress intermittently. The Grounds Zoo Worker will assist with moving the zoo's animal collection, satisfy interdepartmental requests such as relocating furniture, light remodeling, and improvements, and special event set up and care. This position also assists in maintaining both small and large equipment. The Grounds Zoo Worker will operate equipment to load and unload trucks, transport items throughout the park, and conduct landscaping. This role will provide heavy lifting, functioning as the backbone of the behind-the-scenes services to all of the zoo's departments.
Essential Responsibilities:
Remove garbage from trash bins, pick litter, and use a leaf blower to clean walkways. Use a pressure washer to clean up stained concrete and to clean garbage cans. Collect recyclable material and dispose of it properly. Clean outdoor and shared areas.
Tend to outdoor corporate events, private zoo rentals, picnics, and caterers, providing great customer service and keeping the events clean while maintaining strong communication. This includes setting up tables, stages, garbage cans, and any other items required. Conduct general housekeeping of garages, restrooms, break rooms, and facilities.
Use various snow removal equipment and shovels to remove snow from drives and walkways. Spread salt to prevent accidents.
Use various blowing and collection equipment, remove fallen leaves from the zoo in the fall. Clean all buildings' roofs, gutters, and roof drains multiple times in the fall and again in the spring.
Spread woodchips or other landscape materials in the zoo. Repair picnic tables, benches, fences, damaged turf, or equipment, and build various types of wood fencing. Contract with our leading clinician-owned and led health company today! The Warrior Vets Medical Services team provides exemplary general medical services. We provide in-person care to current and former US Military veterans. We are seeking audiologists to provide medical evaluations for veterans in your own clinic.
We pay up to $150 per hour; you will receive compensation for each evaluation, and we remit payment within 45 days of encounter documentation in our user-friendly EMR.
Typical Appointments
In-person appointments consist of general medical evaluations at your location. There are no ongoing treatment needs for these veterans; it is a one-time encounter.
We Schedule Around Your Availability.
Make your own schedule! We efficiently schedule a series of evaluation appointments that last no more than a total of eight hours on each of those days, our current need is for 3 days per week.
No Administrative Tasks Required
Our back-office support team handles all administrative work, including contracting with the Veterans Administration, liaising with contractors, and payment. This approach allows you to spend your time where it should be: with your patients.

CLIENT/DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW:
The Clinical Immunology Society (CIS) is devoted to fostering developments in the science and practice of clinical immunology. The primary objectives and purposes of this Society are:
to facilitate the interchange of ideas and information among physicians and other investigators who are concerned with immunological/inflammatory diseases;
to promote research on the causes and mechanisms of diseases relating to the immune system and, as a result, to unify concepts of disease pathogenesis;
to encourage investigators and clinicians to share in their knowledge of immunologically active drugs and other interventions;
to promote application and dissemination of recent advances in biomedical science for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases related to immunity and inflammation; and
to foster excellence in research and medical practice.
JOB OVERVIEW:
This position works closely with the Executive Director of CIS overseeing aspects of logistical, programming, abstract planning, and on-site logistics for the Clinical Immunology Society (CIS) Annual Meeting and various Schools. Additionally, they work with the Executive Director in all areas of CIS client activities, managing specific committee and administrative projects as assigned.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES (minimum of 37.5 hours/week):
Manage CIS Schools including:
Establish and maintain School timelines and budgets
Liaise with School Chairs
Manage Request for Proposal and site selection process
Negotiate hotel contracts
Manage the application process, selection, and management of attendees
Work with Communications & Administrative Manager to develop marketing strategies for the Schools
Work with the Executive Director to develop and monitor budgets
Coordinate travel for attendees
Produce on-site meeting materials for attendees
Manage all logistics for schools, including off-site events, ground transportation, food and beverage, and rooming lists
Attend Schools
Manage CIS Annual Meeting including; site selection, contracting, development, promotion, registration, catering, exhibit hall, sponsorship, operations manual, and vendor management.
Coordination of CME for Annual Meeting using third party vendor
Prepare conference planning timelines and administer scheduled projects;
Serve as staff liaison to the Program, Advocacy, and Genetics and Genomics Committees and Newborn Screening Task Force and coordinates all conference calls / meetings including the production and distribution of agenda, materials, taking and circulating minutes and correspondence;
Coordinate exhibiting at - and attend - related society meetings, when decided by council;
Communicate with moderators, sponsors, exhibitors, partnering organizations, and speakers;
Coordinate the set-up of the abstract system as well as the review and selection process;
Supervise meeting registration and oversee confirmation, payment, course selection, etc.;
Manage room blocks with hotels, providing periodic room block pick-up and send to Executive Director to review;
Contract outside vendors for social events, exhibition decorating, audio-visual, security, registration and other temporary staff, freight services. Provide direction for outside vendors to ensure adherence to budget and quality service;
With the direction of the Executive Director, coordinate CIS fundraising/sponsorship efforts and provides periodic updates to CIS Council;
Attend Schools, Council Meetings, Annual Business Meeting, and Leadership Retreat as necessary;
Provide final results including budget, attendance, etc. for each meeting;
Coordinate specific projects as directed by the Council, Executive Committee, and Executive Director;
Under the direction of the Executive Director, develop systems and track them in a policy manual and procedures manual;
Manage Meetings and Administrative Coordinator and assign duties and responsibilities;
Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficiency in Word and PowerPoint; knowledge of Excel, Nimble and Outlook.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree preferred; experienced meeting planner; excellent organizational and communication skills; team player; ability to prioritize varied assignments and handle multiple projects.
TRAVEL REQUIRED:
Approximately 3-4 weeks per year. Some weekend and evening work may be required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This is a full-time position located in our office in downtown Milwaukee, WI and a minimum of two days onsite in the office (including Wednesday as an all-staff-in-office day) are a requirement of the role.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: (lifting, packaging, etc.) Minimal lifting required - usually at meetings or while exhibiting. Ability to move quickly within meeting facilities.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Early morning, evening and weekend work may be required to meet client needs.
Attendance at the annual meeting is required.
