Great coworkers. Rewarding helping students.
Subpar tools and equipment for students. Management does not give any raises or bonuses....apparently ever, and I worked there for 8 years. They also do not give reviews. Management has whittled away at investing in their employees, taking away their 401K match, offering subpar health benefits, refusing to pay into employee family benefit plans and only supplementing employee only plans. They even took away Friday Jean days for a few years, because employees liked it. They did end up bringing it back but that just shows their mentality. One year, they decided to save money by mandatory furloughs of office staff. 3 weeks, but not connected. During that time, you had to claim unemployment for that week. When you returned, you had a week to double your workload before you were furloughed again for another week. This was done to save the company money. Students are getting robbed of a good education because the CEO wants his bonus, yet they continue to close campuses. They were supposed to have been cited by the CT Nursing Board last year, but because Stone Academy closed, they had to take those students in, so the Board held off. Yes. This is how Jim Bologa does business. Shame on you, you have run this good school into the ground with your greed.
None. There were no perks. Honestly. There were none.
Not a damn thing. They only care about money and their own butts. It is a business, after all, right?
Have someone who cares running the school. That means firing the President and dissolving the Board. Sell it to someone who actually cares.
Terrible. No raises or bonuses given, ever. Not in the 8 years I worked there. When I left, I was told that there were 4 people trying to do my job.
I liked what i was doing. I learned a lot. But management was horrifyingly bad.
